"Tolle Lage, toller Blick, Schwimmbad mangelhaft - Sehr schöner, weitläufiger Campingplatz mit Blick über das Meer. Die meisten Plätze geneigt, so dass man schauen muss, wo man aufbauen kann. wir hatten allerdings einen Hard Stand, der war super. Wirklich viele Toiletten und Duschen, in gutem Zustand, wurden oft gereinigt, waren aber trotzdem nicht immer sauber. ------- Das Schwimmbad ist klein und nicht so schön, das Wasser sowie die Wände wirkten auf mich aber sauber. Der Eingang ist versteckt gelegen und die Umkleiden sowie die darin enthaltene Dusche waren in einem wirklich schlechten Zustand, zudem roch es nach Schimmel. Leider war es mit Kind erst ab 11.00 Uhr möglich, das Schwimmbad zu nutzen und um 19.00 Uhr wurde es wieder geschlossen, was an den langen Sommertagen in den Ferien schade war. ----- Der Empfang war freundlich aber nicht sehr informativ, wir mussten vieles im Nachhinein erfragen. ---- Die nächstgelegenen Orte sind sehr klein, aber absolut nett, schöner Strand, ausreichend Parkmöglichkeiten (Pay and Display), gute Imbissbuden. Swansea und damit vielfältige Einkaufs- und Ausflugsmöglichkeiten sind in einer guten Entfernung zu erreichen.---- FAZIT: Wir waren gerne da und würden den Platz weiterempfehlen. WICHTIG: Die Anfahrt mit einem 6,5 M Caravan mit Überbreite (2,50m) gestaltete sich schwierig, Unbedingt vorher auf der Homepage oder telefonisch informieren, welche Route die beste/breiteste ist.

"sehr schöner platz in traumhfter lage mit meerblick - ich war im august/september 2016 zu gast auf dem platz.sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites personal,die sanitäranlagen waren einfach aber sauber,das essen und trinkangebot sehr gut, die lage ist traumhaft, blick auf die küste/strand, in knappe 10 minuten kann man runter zum sehr schönen sauberen sandstrand laufen, es gibt traumhafte wanderwege entlang der küste und im binnenland,mit einer örtlichen wanderkarte gar kein problem ,sich auch im hinterland nicht zu verirren,busanbindung ist vorhanden, hunde fahren kostenlos mit im bus zug underground in GB, ich hatte meine hund dabei, war am strand kein problem,unterwegs auch nie, ich emfand die waliser sehr hundefreundlich,der rasen auf dem platz wurde gut gepflegt, ich würde jederzeit wieder diesen platz besuchen

"Traumhaft an der Küste - Die Anreise führt von Swansea durch die schöne Landschaft der Halbinsel Gower. Bei der Anreise die Hinweise des Campingplatzes beachten und nicht auf das Navi hören, wir wären sonst mit unserem Gespann stecken geblieben! Die Navi-Strecke ist ausgeschildert als 'unsuitable for long vehicles". Der Platz liegt wunderschön gelegen oberhalb einer Bucht, die in knapp 10 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar ist. Unter der Woche waren wir nahezu alleine auf dem Camp, zum Wochenende hin wird es dann - wie in GB üblich - belebter durch die Wochenend-Camper. Die sanitären Anlagen sind schon etwas betagt, zum Duschen mussten wir erst ausprobieren, welche noch funktioniert. Als Ausgangspunkt für Ausflugsziele in Südwales liegt der Platz etwas abseits, bis nach Swansea braucht man jedes Mal eine gute halbe Stunde. Das sollte man berücksichtigen. Ansonsten lädt auch die Halbinsel zu herrlichen Wandertouren oder Ausflügen ein.
