"A city campsite ... la apa - Very well located on the shore of a lake, with ample camping and parking and a relaxing view. The lake is fishable, at least for relaxation and amusement. The sanitary groups are ok, the toilets are quite far from the campsite, and separate from the showers and the rest of the sanitary group.

"Good place for Zagoria and Vikos Gorge - As a stopover for Zagoria and the Vikos Gorge, it was a good fit here. The site was only half full. WW set up quickly and then off into the mountains. Simple, very flat pitch directly on the lake (we called the algae-covered lake the Blubbersee). Simple infrastructure. No possibility to go swimming nearby. The lake is not suitable for swimming. Algae-covered.

"Central square - Well and centrally located to the old town. Ideal for excursions by motorcycle to the Zagoria National Park.

"the only place far and wide - We were here many years ago. Since then, the access road to the square has had to make way for a new restaurant and café area. You have to guess rather than recognize the new access road. Structurally, it is in an extremely desolate state. - It is actually the site of the local rowing club. The sanitary facilities are also shared with the club, which are old and used but kept clean. - In May we had a rainy period behind us and the grass pitches were all soggy and boggy. Not all of them were usable. - To do some shopping you have to go outside the site (it's not far!) and the new restaurant area next to it is accessible from the site. - This "base" is certainly suitable for making targeted excursions from here, e.g. to the Zagori mountains or to the Dodona archaeological site. - The water quality of the lake is "modest". Swimming in it is not recommended.

"The only CP in the round, definitely acceptable - After crossing the Balkans on the coastal route, this is the first and only campsite in the whole area. The access road is a bit narrow, but the location directly on the lake is wonderful. The campsite is well guarded, the staff are friendly, speak some German and the pitches under the maple trees are wonderful. The campsite is not very large and is flown over 5 times a day by Boeings at an altitude of 100 meters. Sanitary facilities could be improved, cleanliness too, but absolutely recommendable for one night! Otherwise quite quiet despite being close to the town, LIDL 1.5 km away.

"Camping by the lake - Nicely located, clearly laid out campsite, also suitable for larger motorhomes, friendly staff, basic English is sufficient for communication, mini-market with the most important things on site. Very close to the lake, very good and inexpensive restaurant within walking distance; dogs are allowed on the covered, sheltered terrace. The campsite was also very dog-friendly.
