"Pure Greece. - A perfectly run campsite all year round. The cuisine is typically Greek. The pitches are very well laid out, mostly with sea views. Simply well-being in Greek!

"Beautiful campsite - Very clean toilets and showers, washing machines available. Open all year round. Minimarket and restaurant closed from 15.10. Chef cooks on Fri, Sat and Sun on table reservation. Beautiful sandy beach, very clean sea, partly stony ground. Beach shower available. W-Lan on site, but not the fastest.

"Great place - After we arrived at the Anemolinos campsite and the people at reception made little effort to find us a pitch, we drove 600 meters further to c.P. THINES. We were warmly welcomed there and were immediately allocated a pitch. The sanitary facilities were very clean and were cleaned several times a day. Beach via a path with little traffic, super clean with sunbeds and umbrellas. Fine pebble beach. Highly recommended, would come again at any time.

"Beautiful place - Very nice CP, everything tip top, the beach is very spacious. The sanitary facilities are clean and tidy. All in all a great place!

"The best in Finikounda - Very nicely laid out, clean and well thought-out CP. Plenty of shade. The sanitary buildings are simply Greek and clean. Only minor repairs are needed (loose toilet seats and taps, clothes hooks missing). You can do that too Theo. Sufficient canteen and bar ok, just a bit too expensive. Free sunbeds and umbrellas on the beach. One star deduction for lack of toilet paper. Stupid when everyone walks around the campsite early with a roll under their arm. 50 cents more per person per day would solve this unpleasant problem. Free Wifi - works.

"Friendly place in Finikounda - We looked at all the places in and around Finikounda. We excluded Méthoni (unattractive), Anememilos (too full), Finikes and Tsapi (too difficult to access). We liked Thines, even though the pitches are a bit small. Finikounda is 1 - 2 km away, which is why Anememilos is more popular. Tsapi is 8 km further on in a secluded bay, but can only be approached carefully with small motorhomes or caravans - there are 2 tavernas and a dream beach, nothing else. An insider tip for all off-roaders!!! Thines, on the other hand, is the average of all things and hardly overcrowded, so it's great. Remarkable are the constant overflights of highly motorized aerobatic planes of the army, about 8 hours a day howling! Prices quite expensive (good supermarket in Pylos), beware of scorpions and rather aggressive millipedes from May onwards. Since 2016 there has been an increase in break-ins in secluded places by wandering Roma.

Our campsite Thines is situated to the west of the village of Finikounda, right on the long and spotlessly clean beach of Makrinammos which has been awarded the Blue Flag, just 50 metres from the shore. On our family run …campsite a warm and friendly atmosphere awaits you. The site has 50 plots, washing machines, 20 showers and 22 toilets.
