"The Middle Ages send their regards - Fantastic location above the city. A few minutes on foot. Somewhat cramped sanitary facilities also only medieval. Toilets should be standard. Staff helpful and very friendly.

"Very well located campsite - Fantastic campsite, in the upper area about 10-15 pitches for larger campers then terraced exit with many small niches for campers size VW bus and many places for tents small and large almost every tent has its own small terrace where you can camp undisturbed. Many small seating possibilities 3-4 outdoor kitchens and 3 shower-wc tracts Camping Bus 20€ p.p.10,50€ the night

"Wonderfully quiet CP with an amazing view - We spent one night at the campsite, which is located at the top of the mountain, just outside the town center (there are serpentines leading up the mountain). For tents there are very nice pitches laid out as mountainous steps or a somewhat larger general campsite. There is parking for camper vans and buses right at the top of the entrance. We also discovered at some point that there are also larger tent pitches below, for tents including car parking, but we weren't quite sure how to get there either. The owners were very friendly, despite the fact that check-in was labeled from 2 pm, we were able to check in at 1 pm without any problems. However, it is not recommended to drive into the CP by car (parking costs 6 EUR), as it is very narrow and the access road is also narrow and steep. You can also park your car on the street. Perfect for getting to the old town on foot, the castle is a 5-minute walk away (amazing view!) There is WiFi, a small store, a lounge (table tennis, books...). We paid 37 EUR for 1 night, 1 tent incl. parking, 2 people.

"Jungle oasis in the big city - We are absolutely amazed by this little green jungle oasis in the middle of the city! You could hardly park more cheaply and centrally with the VW bus under surveillance, plus clean sanitary facilities and super friendly staff, what more could you want? Yes, the parking spaces are narrow and the entrance is tricky, but if you've read this beforehand, it's no problem at all.

"Great place - I passed by there on my Alpe-Adria tour by bike and it was the best place of all. Friendly staff. No luxury frills and a great personal atmosphere. The terrace next to the small store is just as inviting for breakfast with a view over the city as it is for an evening glass of wine.

"Beautiful place above Verona - We always enjoy coming back to this site. Due to its location in the moat, it is of course only suitable for campers. A little difficult to reach uphill on a bike tour, but the view makes up for everything. Well organized and friendly team, shady tent pitches. Few places for campers etc. so make a reservation, there is always room for tents. In the evening, enjoy the terrace and the city lights in peace. Shade under the vines. Steps to the town

http://www.campingcastelsanpietro.com The camping is set in a pleasant wood, within the ancient city walls; in the area there are buildings from five historical periods (from 1200 to 1800) that witness the rule of the Scaligeri family, of the Venetians, of …the Visconti family, of the French and of the Austrians. The historic enviroment is further enhanced by the natural beauty of the surrounding luxuriant vegetation. The campsite offers modern facilities for campers with tents (there are no fittings or specific power points for campers and/or caravans). All guests have access, free of charge, to two large terraces with views: one for sunbathing and one for eating. Other covered areas are available for leasure activities, and in the event of bad weather. With reservation the campground will accomodate youth groups with chaperons or teachers in June and September. Groups may bring their own tents or may rent tents at the campground.
