"Simply a wonderful stay once again - We simply love this campsite. Large pitch right on the water, super nice new wash house. It was always clean. Even with questions or concerns, everyone was always nice and accommodating. This was our third time at the campsite and it certainly won't be the last. Many thanks to Harry and his team.

"Beautiful, but expensive! - Beautifully situated campsite, right on the water. The location is really great. We were in the front row, less than 10 meters from the water. Fantastic view. New wash house on the main site, everything else is new and modern. Unfortunately, the chemical toilet emptying system is also new. There is no normal emptying system, as on any other campsite, but only a chemical toilet machine, which you have to pay for. Emptying 3 €, plus filling with toilet additive 1.50 € if you want to. Emptying in the normal toilet is expressly punished with a €30 fine and expulsion from the site. The price is quite high in my opinion. We probably had a front row pitch with electricity and water on site, but there was no waste water. We were traveling in the low season and paid €54 per day despite having an ACSI card, plus the toilet emptying fee.

"Fantastic location, but unfortunately very very loud! - We had a pitch on the Maxplatz. The sanitary facilities are in a container, not a luxury, but showers and toilets are available, but nowhere near as attractive as on the main site!

"Directly on the lake, but also directly on the road - We had booked one of the new Max pitches, which used to be on the Möwenplatz and now belong to Strandcamping Chiemsee as a result of the merger. ----The pitches are located directly on a busy road, so there is a lot of traffic noise from 6 or 7 am, all day long --- The pitches are spatially separated from the rest of the campsite, so to get to the reception you have to drive along the road or walk along the beach. So there is no restaurant, coffee or other entertainment on these pitches either. Bread roll service must be ordered by 8pm for the next day and handed in at reception. Very nice location of the pitches directly on the lake --- long narrow pitches were sufficient for us and our caravan ---- Sanitary building very outdated, a new one is planned for next year. The showers are very small and without a partition, i.e. everything gets wet and it is hardly possible to get into a new pair of pants dry. There is very little light in the washing cubicles, as there is only one lamp with little luminosity, and also very little light in the toilets in the evening (only lamps in the central corridor). There is no sink for washing clothes, but there is a washing machine and dryer (not free of charge). It also doesn't help that a new one is planned here, because it wasn't there this year. --- The path to the pitches is simply filled in with gravel, so not suitable for cycling either All in all: In addition to the expensive prices in the main season of 51.50 euros per pitch and day, there is also electricity 1 euro per KWh service charge 1.50 euros per person and day and the tourist tax We will definitely not be back, the negative things outweigh the positive things for us.

"Beautiful chimney place directly on the lake - Nothing works without a deposit! No chance of a refund. If you can't come, bad luck. But if you are in the area again, you could come for the money you paid :-(

Profile

Chiemsee Strandcamping erstreckt sich ca. 1000m direkt am Ufer des Chiemsees. Die 140 Urlaubsplätze befinden sich max. 50 m vom Ufer entfernt, 65 Plätze davon liegen direkt am Strand. Von hier aus beobachten sie die schönsten Sonnenuntergänge am Chiemsee. Der …Blick über den See auf die beiden Inseln und die Alpen lassen das Herz höherschlagen. Die Stellplätze in allen Größen (50 – 130 qm) sind gut befestigt und mit Fahrzeugen jeder Größe befahrbar. Strom und Wasser sind meistens in Stellplatznähe. Das Gelände ist mit kleinen Bäumen und Büschen bepflanzt, sonnig bis schattig. Die sanierten Sanitäranlagen liegen zentral im Haupthaus und sind mit Fußbodenheizung ausgestattet. Auf der zweiten Platzhälfte (2021 erweitert) befinden sich Maxi-Comfort-Stellplätze mit Strom, Wasser und Abwasser am Platz. Dort wird derzeit ein neues, offenes, modernes und gut durchlüftetetes Sommer-Sanitärgebäude gebaut, das zur Saison 2024 fertig gestellt sein soll. Ausreichend Toiletten und Duschen, alles im Preis inklusive, mit Sitzdesinfektion ausgestattet und 3x täglich gereinigt. Einzelwaschkabinen sind bei Damen und Herren vorhanden. Im neuen Sanitärgebäude außerdem, so bald fertig gestellt: Barrierefreie Sanitäreinrichtung und Familien-Mietbäder. Separater Hundestrand. Fun & Sport-Area mit Gartenschach, Bocciabahn, kleinem Outdoor Fitnesspark, Tischtennis, Relaxliegen, Billard, Kicker, Dart, Air-Hockey … u.v.m Am Platz befindet sich eine neu gestaltete Bar mit Café, die Pizzeria „La Terrazza“ mit selbst zubereiteten Steinofenpizzen und ein kleiner Minimarkt. Cafè- und Bierspezialitäten, Cocktails, Steinofenpizza, Flammkuchen, Grundnahrungsmittel und Kosmetikartikel sind vorhanden. Frühstücksgebäck auf Vorbestellung frisch gebacken. Es kann auch auf der Terrasse gefrühstückt werden. Am Abend: Cocktails können im ansprechend gestalteten Loungebereich am offenen Feuer genossen werden. Ab 2024 neu: Auf der zweiten Platzhälfte vier Pkw-Ladestationen, kleiner Campingshop und Aperitivbar „Rialto“. Gelegentliche Live-Musik-Abende.
