"Long weekend in September - Spent a long weekend here with 3 other couples. Everything was fine. Because it was colder in the evening we could use the sheepfold. (Ideal) We also baked pizzas in the wood-fired pizza oven... this really comes highly recommended! Friendly people, what more could you want?

Ligging: d’Olde Kamp recreatie is een kleinschalig bedrijf gelegen in Ansen, een klein dorpje tussen de brinkdorpen Ruinen en Dwingeloo. Vanaf ons terrein fietst of wandelt u direct het bos in om zo urenlang van de bijzondere omgeving te genieten. …Het terrein grenst aan de Anserdennen, een onderdeel van het Nationaal Park Dwingelderveld. Op een kleine 10 km afstand bevindt zich ook het Nationaal Park Drents Friese Wold en zijn er momenteel plannen voor het Ooster- en Westerzand, een derde Nationaal Park nabij Uffelte en Havelte op ca. 6 km afstand gelegen. Ons uitzicht - Rheebrugge - werd in 2007 tweede in de verkiezing "mooiste plekje van Nederland" Dit alles is dé garantie voor een prachtige omgeving met onuitputtelijke mogelijkheden om te wandelen en te fietsen en te genieten. Fietsen van dorp naar dorp over de uitgestrekte fietspaden en het afwisselende landschap in verwondering in u op te nemen. Terrein: Er bevinden zich 40 ruime (110-130 m2) kampeerveldjes op het terrein, waarvan 30 zijn ingericht voor 1 kampeermiddel. De meeste veldjes zijn aangesloten op riool en voorzien van een watertappunt. Op het terrein zijn dierenweiden voor de geiten en konijnen en de kippen, diverse speeltoestellen zoals schommels, wipwappen en zandbak. Het aangrenzende bos biedt de kinderen de ruimte om hun fantasie te prikkelen. Plaggenhutten: Tevens verhuren wij authentiek Drentse plaggenhutten. Deze woninkjes werden tot omstreeks 1900 bewoond door veenarbeiders en bieden u de gelegenheid om te logeren in een unieke Drentse accommodatie. Slapen in een bedstee en ’s avonds gezellig voor de open haard. Drenthe op z’n Drents. De Berk & De Anserden Voor wie wat meer luxe wil verhuren wij tevens twee zeer comfortabel vakantiehuisjes, de Berk (6 pers.) en de Anserden (4 pers.). Vanaf de kant van Assen: De A 28 volgen tot afslag Pesse, de N 375 gaan volgen tot afslag Ruinen. In Ruinen richting Dwingeloo.
