"A good place to stay on the way to the ferry terminal - We used the campground for a one-night stopover at the beginning and end of our trip to Sweden because of its proximity to the ferry terminal. Since our last visit, the restrooms have been renovated and were always well-cleaned this time around. Showers cost extra (5 SEK for 3 minutes) and must be prepaid onto a card. If you don’t want to drive to the store after arriving, the campground’s own kiosk offers basic groceries. The entire campground operates on a completely cashless basis. We liked the location right by the sea, with a beach, a pier, and the opportunity to swim. However, upon our arrival, there was an official swimming warning from the municipality due to blue-green algae. We found the campground to be too expensive by Swedish standards.

"Perfect ferry stop - The site is an ideal start/end to a trip to Sweden. The ferry port is only 10 minutes away and you can even arrive after 10 pm. There is a small store in reception. You can buy bread rolls there from 8:15 in the morning. However, you should be there early. The beach is very nice, white sandy beach. Even when it was almost full in August, the beach was not overcrowded. We had a pitch in the first row, which is highly recommended. We didn't try the restaurant. It's a shame that, despite the size of the site, there are only 5 toilets and 2 showers in the main sanitary building. There is a second one with three combinations of showers and toilets. That is simply not enough. We often had to queue.

"Good place for ferry Germany-Sweden - A good place for vacationers who come and go by ferry. However, it is now called Trelleborg Strand Camping. A reservation is absolutely necessary. The restaurant was closed, unfortunately we couldn't try it. The beautiful beach is cleaned in the morning, which unfortunately means that there are hardly any shells and chicken gods to be found. If the wind is unfavorable, you can hear the noise from the harbor all night long.

"A good stop after the ferry arrival - We have stayed at this campsite several times, either directly after the ferry arrival or on the way to the ferry. The campsite offers everything you need. Quiet, clean sanitary facilities, a small beach for swimming etc. You can stay here for 1 night or several days. The pitches are large and suitable for tents and camper vans.

"Good transit point - We used the site for 2 nights to wait for the ferry. There are large pitches with electricity. The site is only used by the vast majority of guests for one or two nights. The price is quite high for Sweden. The staff are nice and helpful and speak Swedish, English and one member of staff also spoke very good German.
