"Convenient location for a visit to Strasbourg - We only visited the site for two nights for a visit to Strasbourg. The weather was quite rainy, which spoiled our impression of the site. In my opinion, however, it is not one of the most beautiful campsites. But you can tell that campers were involved in the design. The sanitary facilities are well thought out. It is rare to find three double hooks in the very spacious shower, so that you can cope well even in bad weather. You don't have to leave the shower to brush your teeth after showering, as there is also a washbasin. And of course there is also a seat. There is also a washbasin at the waste disposal station for cleaning your hands afterwards. All things that I have missed on pretty much every other campsite.

"NEVER AGAIN - I imagine "one of the most beautiful campsites in Europe" to be something else !!! A simple meadow with trees. Not parceled out. I've come across much nicer places. We were there for a week. A lot of small airplanes fly over the site. The sanitary facilities have seen better days. The shower was leaking and water was spraying on all sides. The water drained very slowly so that you had to stand in it. NO SEATING. On Thursday a small group of campers arrived about 8-10 people who immediately started talking at a volume that the whole place heard. NOTHING WAS DONE BY THE SITE OPERATOR. Then on Friday the group set up a sound system and played music very loudly and sang along. NOTHING WAS DONE BY THE SITE OPERATOR. This went on into the evening. The noise nuisance continued all day on Saturday !!!! NOTHING WAS DONE BY THE SITE OPERATOR. There is NO TRACE on the site!

"I hope the DCC finds a friendly new operator. - Our arrival on Ascension Day was chaos. It took us 3.5 hours to finally get to our pitch, despite our reservation, and we spent the time beforehand in the queue at the swimming pool. The groundskeeper was unbeatable in her unfriendliness. Totally overwhelmed and pretty helpless. After the thunderstorm there was a power cut, when asked the next day at 4pm, the reception door was locked and the lady sat at her desk rolling her eyes and shrugging her shoulders. At Pentecost a nice gentleman from the DCC came to the rescue. We hope that a site team will soon be found that knows how to say thank you, please and hello.

"Nice place in a good location - We felt very comfortable on this generally quiet campsite. The location to the Rhine and Strasbourg is brilliant. It's been a long time since we've seen and used sanitary facilities that were so new and well maintained. The reception by the manager was extremely friendly and we were even accompanied to our pitch.

"Ingenious - Very friendly, always cheerful manager, exorbitantly clean and modern sanitary facilities, simply brilliant, seasonal events and church services, also ideal for a visit to Europa-Park Rust (only 30 minutes away, but quieter and cheaper than the campsites there).

"High praise for the groundsman - The groundsman was always very friendly, which is why we were there twice this year. Unfortunately, we found out on the day we left that it would no longer be there next season. That is a great pity. Keep up your friendliness and the daily smile. Der Campingplatz in Kehl liegt zwar sehr zentral direkt an der Rheinpromenade, doch sorgt die ihn umgebende Parkanlage gleichzeitig für eine beschauliche Atmosphäre. Das 23.000 qm große Gelände ist nicht in feste Parzellen unterteilt. In dem behindertengerechten und beheizbaren Sanitärgebäude …befinden sich u. a. 4 Einzelwasch- und 10 Duschkabinen sowie zwei Waschmaschinen und Trockner. Auch Geschirrspülbecken sind vorhanden. Für das leibliche Wohl der Gäste sorgt darüber hinaus ein Restaurant mit Terrasse, das mit einer reichhaltigen Speisen- und Getränkekarte überzeugen kann. In unmittelbarer Nähe des Campingplatzes befinden sich ein Schwimmbad, eine Minigolfanlage sowie Tennisplätze und ein Trimmpfad. Außerdem stellt Kehl eine gute Basis für Tagesausflüge nach Straßburg oder in den Schwarzwald dar. Sehr beliebt sind zudem Radtouren über die Europabrücke nach Frankreich.
