"Nice owners - Very nice farmers, always clean, heated sanitary facilities, 2 beautiful meadows with large pitches, catering 2-3 km away in the center of Castricum (with all possibilities. Distance to the sea approx. 7km. Somewhat disturbing: Nearby road and airplanes approaching from Schipool. If you want to visit Smsterdsm without stress, you will find a safe place to stay here with a high recreational value. All in all: Highly recommended!

"Nice campground on farm land - I was looking for a campground off the coast as these are extremely expensive (roughly 30€ for a tent!) and came across this one. They have about 5-6 spots for tents without electricity, which suited me on my bike trip just fine. The grass covered area is located next to the farm, you can watch the cows being milked in the mornig and evening. Facilities were clean and well looked after and there was no extra charge for a hot shower! Paid 12.50€ for the night, very good value for money. The town centre with shops is walking distance, to go to the beachbit would be good to take a bike or car.

Profile

Boerencamping “De Kei” is een kindvriendelijke camping op een melkveehouderij en bloembollenbedrijf. De koeien lopen nog lekker buiten en er is volop de gelegenheid om het boerenleven te ontdekken. Koeien ophalen, bij het melken kijken, kalfjes voeren, meerijden op de …tracktor, bollen sorteren, pellen etc. Op de camping hebben we 25 plaatsen met stroom 6 Amp. met de mogelijkheid om tot 10 Amp. te verhogen, plaatsen met verhard voortentgedeelte, plaatsen met uitzicht over de polder en randbebouwing van Castricum Ons verwarmde sanitairgebouw is in 2012 nieuw gezet. Met 5 douches, 2 wascabines, 4 wastafels, 5 toiletten en 1 urinoir. Alkmaar (o.a Kaasmarkt), Beverwijk (Bazaar), Egmond, Bergen, Schoorl (mooi duingebied), zijn prima met de fiets te bereiken. Mooie fietsroutes met behulp van het knooppunten netwerk. Amsterdam, Haarlem, Den Helder zijn weer plaatsen waar je met slechter weer terecht kan. Maar vooral het strand en de duinen van Heerlykhyd Castricum zijn een prima plek om helemaal tot rust te komen.
