Description

Profile

Deepdale Camping is a quiet, family friendly, north Norfolk coast campsite, with five well kept paddocks in the heart of the beautiful village of Burnham Deepdale. Offering the perfect camping base to discover the north Norfolk coast, an ‘Area of …Outstanding Natural Beauty’*, famous for it’s nature and bird reserves, walking and cycling, watersports and history. If you are looking for a party campsite, then this isn't the campsite for you. We have a strict noise policy in the late evenings to keep the relaxed atmosphere for both our customers and the adjacent houses. Deepdale Camping is open all year for tents (no larger than 6-7 metres) and small campervans – no caravans. Sorry but at the moment we don't offer electrical hookups or allow generators. (Would you stay if we did offer electrical hookups? - Let us know) We are an environmentally friendly north Norfolk campsite. Quiet, vaccinated dogs are welcome on the campsite, but must be kept on a short lead. July / August camping bookings made before 17th July must be for a minimum of 7 nights. We recommend you book ahead for weekends and August. Sorry, but we cannot guarantee specific camping pitch numbers, for camping or campervans, as we may have to rearrange to accommodate other bookings. We can now open North Glebe all year, which was our overflow camping field. This means at quiet times you have much more choice of camping pitches and makes no difference during high season. As part of our planning permission to extend the camping facilities, we've planted a huge number of trees and hedges around the campsite and further landscaping will be taking place. This north Norfolk campsite is not suitable for large groups. Deepdale Camping's facilities include: Visitor Information Centre Walk Free baggage courier service Laundry Internet access Deepdale Café Payphone Shop and petrol station Mail holding Fat Face Clothing store Luggage storage CoastHopper Bus Service 2 pubs in the village Disabled facilities Sailing school and watersports centre Secure bike rack and of course the beautiful north Norfolk coast For camping bookings in advance, Friday and Saturday nights must be booked together not separately Over bank holidays the weekend and pre bank holiday nights must be booked together. (eg August Bank Holiday when Monday is the Bank Holiday, Sunday night must be booked with the Friday and Saturday) *'Area of outstanding natural beauty' is an official international designation as the area is recognised for it’s scenery and wildlife.
