"Small campground with very mediocre plumbing - Small campground close to the lake. Spacious sites. Very poor sanitary facilities. Other than an occasional train racing by, a quiet environment.

"We were there for 2 days with the jeep.... - ..... and found a quiet (except for the railroad line, which was not disturbing) and clean site. The sanitary facilities are acceptable and there is even the possibility to use a washing machine. We slept in the car and therefore can't say anything about the caravans, tents or mobile homes. However, they were in perfect and well-kept condition. The staff were very friendly and spoke some German. There is a nice lido about 100 meters away on foot. I would also like to recommend the operator and praise him for his friendliness and efforts. He takes great care of his guests and also offers freshly baked goods in the morning. My recommendation: the range should be expanded to include bread rolls instead of just sweet rolls. In the evening they offer chips & chicken, I would also expand this and offer 2-3 typical Hungarian dishes (e.g. kettle goulash, normal goulash, stuffed peppers, schnitzel, (possibly also a pizza)). It doesn't take too much effort, but is sure to go down very well and attract more guests, even if only to eat, because there are no more restaurants nearby and the kiosks at the lido don't offer very good food, everything there is heartless. If you want to be successful you should offer something extraordinary, you can make more out of this beautiful, small, quiet and family campsite with a little heart and soul and traditional cuisine, which is unfortunately lost in Hungary, this place becomes an insider tip. We will be back and hope our rating bears fruit.

"Great value for money - I loved the location next to the water, great service that can communicate in decent English and proximity to the nearby tourist attractions combined with the low price even during top season. The sanitary facilities which are clean but a bit old although they should not scare anyone off.

"Loud, impractical - Coming from Vienna, the first CP on Lake Balaton. Last year and this year 2018 it was free in the low season, we were also pretty much the only campers. Disadvantages: quite lost in the landscape and in the reed belt, regular train screeching and thundering about 25 meters next to the site, lake access only via the bathing establishment 200 meters further on, mosquitoes, no shopping facilities.

Profile

On the 1-hectare site of our campsite, guests can choose from a variety of accommodation options. Here we welcome visitors with mobile homes, two-storey wooden houses, flat houses, bungalows, rented caravans and numerous tent sites. The campsite is not located …by the water, but the beach of Balatonederic (270 m) can be reached in a few minutes on foot. Active relaxation is provided by a children's corner with trampoline and table tennis table as well as bicycle and go-kart rental. For relaxation, we recommend our buffet car, where our guests can enjoy a variety of dishes in buffet form and fine wines. The mini-ABC in the campsite helps you recharge your batteries in the morning, where we welcome visitors every morning with freshly baked pek snack pastries, coffee, hot chocolate and soft drinks. Delta Camping is peaceful, quiet, family-friendly, pet-friendly and a perfect place to recharge your batteries! Come and visit us for yourself! We provide high-speed internet access for our guests throughout the campsite! The beach is a 5-minute walk away, but entertainment and recreation options also await you in the camping area!
