"schöner campingplatz - Der Campingplatz selbst hat unsere Erwartungen vollkommen erfüllt: gepflegt, angenehm klein, freundliches Team. Die Sanitärräume sind sauber und es gibt auch einen großzügigen Aufenthaltsraum mit kleinen Snacks und einen Riesen-TV. Anfang September war erwartungsgemäß nicht mehr viel los und alles sehr entspannt. Wir hatten ein woodcube gebucht, das erst im Laufe des Jahres fertig gestellt wurde, es war also praktisch nagelneu. Wir hatten uns sehr auf die kleine Veranda gefreut, um laufe Spätsommer-Abende dort zu verbringen. Da es geregnet hat, war sie leider nicht so gut zu nutzen: Das Dach ist etwas kurz geraten, sodass man auch bei leichtem Regen nicht wirklich trocken bleibt. Auch hatte die Veranda unseres Cube eine Neigung in Richtung der Tür, sodass sich das Wasser vor der Tür sammelt. Die Region ist landschaftlich schön und lädt zum Radfahren und Wandern ein, allein der Ort Sachsenburg selbst, bietet sehr wenig. Ein Gasthof mit traditioneller Küche, ein Cafe-Bar sowie ein Lebensmittelgeschäft und ein Geldautomat liegen zentral. Vielmehr gibt es aber auch nicht mehr. Sehr enttäuschend - auch wenn das mit dem Camping-PLatz nichts zu tun hat - war ein kleiner Spaziergang auf den "Hausberg" die Burgenwanderung: der Weg war sehr ungepflegt und selbst, wenn man den ersten Turm erreicht, wirkt es als wären die Arbeiten über Nacht eingestellt worden und das schon vor längerer Zeit. Gerade weil es ein EU-Leader-Projekt war, um Sachsenburg touristisch aufzuwerten, ist es besonders enttäuschend. Unser Resümee: ein netter kleiner Camping-Platz, auch gut geeignet für einen Halt von einigen Nächsten auf den Weg in Richtung Süden oder dem Rückweg.

With us, comfort and family are in the foreground. All our pitches have electricity and TV satellite connection as well as free Wi-Fi access. For all active holidaymakers, there is a tennis court and a ball court, and our younger …guests can let off steam in the spacious children's playground. In addition to the cosy lounge with reading corner, indoor table tennis and table football (foosball table), our guests can also use the lockable bicycle storage room and our own boat landing bay. Our modern sanitary facilities, for which we received a special award from the ADAC, are also equipped with a toddler bath and changing tables. Admission to the adventure swimming pool, a 10-minute walk away, is free of charge for our camping guests. Stepless entrances, wide corridors and special sanitary rooms enable people with disabilities and their companions to enjoy a carefree stay. Modern, family-friendly campsite with 80 pitches on the banks of the Drava - in the area of the Sachsenburg leisure complex (3 minutes' walk to the centre of the village). Free guided mountain hikes, cycling or mountain bike tours and boat trips. Free use of the solar-heated adventure swimming pool and tennis court! Modern sanitary facilities with baby wash and nappy-changing room. The historic village of Sachsenburg is located directly on the Drava cycle path and is an ideal starting point for countless holiday activities due to its central location in the middle of the Upper Carinthian mountain and lake region.
