"Duchonka 2022 - Toilets are not cleaned every day. For 2 days a roll of paper was lying on the floor, soaked. The baskets stink and there are a lot of wasps flying around at night. There are a lot of alcohol-fuelled people moving around during the day and at night. If you alert the staff to something that is wrong, they quickly work away, unfortunately without rectification. the food is a pure disaster, nothing suitable for children.

"Lubos - We were with children aged 2 and 0.5 years. We appreciated the campsite under the trees, so even in the hot weather it was pleasant there. The water was warm, just the dam part at the campsite is too shallow with a layer of mud at the bottom. However, just walk 10 minutes to the dam where there is a more rocky bottom and deeper water, you can rent pedal boats. There is also a large pier.

V areáli DUCHONKA CAMPING sa nachádza 15 bungalovov a viacero buniek, ktoré sú vhodné na ubytovanie v čase letnej turistickej sezóny, teda od začiatku júna do konca septembra. V tesnej blízkosti bungalovov sa nachádza karavanový kemp s dostatočným počtom elektrických …prípojok pre karavany. Najväčšiu rozlohu zaberá samotný stanový kemp, ktorý pojme až 3000 návštevníkov. V areáli autokempingu sa tiež nachádza bufet - TURISTA BAR s priestrannou letnou terasou. Rekreačné stredisko Duchonka leží 18 km severozápadne od okresného mesta Topoľčany a 4 km od obce Prašice v nadmorskej výške 275 m a je obklopené horami Považského Inovca. Priaznivé klimatické podmienky a samotná vodná nádrž pri brezovo-borovicovom háji robia túto oblasť atraktívnou v rámci letných dovoleniek pri vode, s bohatou ponukou turistiky a cykloturistiky po vyznačených trasách, zberu húb, rybolovu, vodných športov a letnej zábavy s bohatým športovým a kultúrnym vyžitím. Na rázcestí pri vstupe do autokempingu stojí pomník padlým v SNP a v druhej svetovej vojne. V okolí Duchonky a v prekrásnej prírode pohoria Považský Inovec, v časti nad priehradou, je chránená prírodná rezervácia Čepušky.
