"Only suitable for large tents, motorhomes & campers - Conclusion: The campsite run by the municipality is certainly the first choice in terms of location, but is unsuitable for solo travelers, cyclists or people who want to make contact quickly. These people should rather camp in the neighboring village of Trassenheide. (10 minutes by bike).

"Camping directly on the Baltic Sea - We liked the campsite very much. The service of having the caravan pulled to the pitch by tractor was great. With your own car, the ramps down would also be a real challenge, as would the sandy ground. Many access points directly from the pitch to the Baltic Sea through a narrow belt of dunes. The landscape and the great beach are fantastic. Only the many jellyfish in the water spoil the bathing fun. Textiles and nudism available on the beach - everyone as they like it. And now in the low season, the separation was also fluid. Access to the sanitary facilities is only possible with a chip that opens the doors. If you don't have it with you, it looks bad. The toilet and washing areas were bright and clean, and the coronavirus-related distancing rules were well implemented. Karlshagen is easy to reach on foot or by bike. All shopping facilities are available in the village. The price/performance ratio in the low season was okay.

"Great basis! - Despite a last-minute request (2 days in advance), we still managed to get a pitch here for a weekend. The site is located in a wooded area, only separated from the Baltic Sea by a dune. The site has its own beach access. The site is dominated by permanent campers and is very clean and tidy. The sanitary facilities look brand new, are well maintained and clean. Regular cleaning. We were surprised that you don't have to bring your caravan to the pitch yourself, this is done by a "shuttle service" by tractor. Any car would be lost in the sand... 2 nights, caravan & awning & tent, 2 adults, 2 teenagers with tourist tax approx. € 125.00. OK for the time being, it was the only pitch out of 15 requested that still had capacity at that time. Shopping facilities by bike/car in 5-10 min distance (Edeka, Penny, Netto).

"Cozy camping in a good location - Very small pitches, hardly any distance to the neighbors, sanitary house and kitchen very clean until some dirt was on site. Staff very attentive and friendly.permanent campers very space-consuming electricity column with windbreak fence built.pitch marking difficult to recognize especially at late arrival.otherwise everything very nice.

"Recommended campsite - Very nice site close to the dunes and the beach. Spacious pitches in a beautiful pine forest. The site is very well maintained and was very quiet and relaxing in September. Clean sanitary facilities. Kilometers of beautiful white sandy beach.

Eine leichte Meeresbrise trägt das Rauschen der Wellen und die Seeluft stets bis …in die Zelte und Wohnwagen hinein. Das Dünencamp umfasst 340 Stellplätze. Für die sehr gute Infrastruktur, die sanitären Einrichtungen und die technische Versorgung der Stellplätze wurde das Dünencamp vom Deutschen Tourismusverband mit 5 Sternen ausgezeichnet. Die erstklassige Gesamtausstattung des Platzes bietet hervorragende Campingbedingungen für das ganze Jahr. Familienfreundliches Camping Auch für die kleinsten Camper ist gesorgt. Die Sanitäreinrichtungen des Dünencamps sind mit Wickeltischen und Babybadewannen ausgestattet. An extra niedrig angebrachten Waschbecken fühlen sich Kinder beim Zähneputzen und Händewaschen in zwei Familienbädern ganz groß. Im Rezeptionsgebäude gibt es weiterhin ein gemütliches Spielzimmer und Karlchens Büchercamp für Regenwolkentage. Modernste Ausstattung Auf dem Gelände des Dünencamps befinden sich drei moderne und saubere Sanitärhäuser. WCs, Einzel- und Familienduschen sowie zwei behindertengerechte Bäder stehen den Campern hier zur Verfügung. Traumhafter Ostseestrand Der unmittelbar an das Dünencamp angrenzende Ostseestrand gehört zu den schönsten auf der Insel Usedom. Das Wasser, in dem sich Badenixen und Wassersportler hier vergnügen, ist eines der saubersten weltweit, deutlich zu erkennen an der „Blauen Flagge“, dem internationalen Umweltsymbol, das in Karlshagen weht. Sonnenanbeter und Aktivurlauber zieht es gleichermaßen an den Karlshagener Strand. Die einen, um hier einfach zu relaxen und auszuspannen, die anderen aufgrund der guten Spiel- und Sportbedingungen. Nicht zuletzt wegen der frischen Brise ist der Sportstrand Karlshagens ein Geheimtipp für Windsurfer. Für Freizeit- und Profivolleyballer ist er die ganze Saison über ein beliebter Treffpunkt. Anfahrt per PKW Aus dem Süden erreicht man Karlshagen über die A11 und dann die neue A20 bis Abfahrt Gützkow und auf der B111 durch Wolgast auf die Insel Usedom und in der Ortschaft Bannemin links Richtung Karlshagen. Von Westen …kommend fahren Sie über die A20 bis zur Abfahrt Greifswald, auf der L26 weiter in Richtung Greifswald. Kurz vor Greifswald folgen Sie der Umgehungsstraße Richtung Anklam (B109). Der B109 folgen Sie bis zur Ampelkreuzung Abzweig Wolgast (B111) und fahren durch Wolgast auf die Insel Usedom, in der Ortschaft Bannemin links Richtung Karlshagen. In Karlshagen fahren Sie die Strandstraße Richtung Strand und biegen kurz vor dem Ende rechts ab in die Zeltstraße. Bitte beachten Sie bei Ihrer Anreise auf die Insel die Brückenöffnungszeiten!
