"Sweden vacation 6/2024 - Always happy to return. Super site with clean sanitary facilities. Kiosk also on site. Unfortunately, late arrivals from 5 pm are unlucky, it doesn't start again until 8 am.

"Disinterested and amateurish management - Reservation: My request by email was not answered at all. The attempt by telephone led to a Swede who spoke no German and no English. I was unable to contact the site itself. Maintenance of the facilities: The guest marina is simply unkempt. Wooden parts are rotting, metal parts are rusty, screws have not been replaced. Sanitary facilities: A new building that is far too small. The toilet blocks on the site are approached. The staff walked around the cubicle once and then drove on. Cleaning did not take place. The old sanitary building deserves a maximum of one star and the term: stinking piss stall is not a linguistic derailment or insult.

"A great place - We spent exactly 7 nights on the pitch. We used a pitch in the first row on the beach. We also have a rowing boat. The wash houses are good by Swedish standards. Unfortunately, with two toilets and showers, not many. However, the season was coming to an end for us. It got quieter from day to day. Children have a great playground on the beach and a bouncy cushion. The beach is great for swimming. Unfortunately, people came to the beach or lawn EVERY evening and held sessions there until deep into the night at a fairly loud volume without consideration. Some played football until midnight ... we didn't like that. And NO, these were NOT guests of the campsite. Therefore, do not choose the front row on the lawn, but on the beach towards the forest.

"Beautiful place with shortcomings - The site is located 7 km from Säffle, directly on the lake. It actually has everything a camper needs, but too little of everything. Waiting cards have to be taken on departure. This would also be necessary for the showers and toilets, as there are not enough of them. Price for 2 persons and camper on comfort pitch 400 SEK

"Beautiful, quiet place - Stayed there for 4 nights this summer. Everything was great, even a free dishwasher. I think that's great. Unfortunately the beach was closed. Reason not entirely clear. Will definitely be back.

"Great campsite on the Vänern in Säffle - We stayed at this campsite for two nights in August 2017 and can definitely recommend it. There are fresh bread rolls (or some from the day before with a 50% discount), a small store, a great stretch of beach with shallow water and lots of hiking opportunities. The vacation homes are hardly or not at all disturbing, the pitches are distributed differently on the beach, on the meadow, under trees etc.! The two wash houses are fine and functional. The cleanliness could be a little better, as could the state of maintenance. But everything works and there is even a sauna in the rear wash house. :) The staff are also friendly and the smaller purchases such as bread rolls can easily be paid for in cash. Oh yes and free W-LAN with a reasonable reception area and decent speed is also available. For children/young people there are pedal cars, mini golf and the like! You can also set off on a canoe trip or take an excursion boat across Lake Vänern.

Welcome to our campsite Duse Udde outside the village of Säffle! Here you will find everything from culture and history to adventure and activities of all kinds. Duse Udde is a real gem in truly beautiful surroundings. Nature offers scenic …walking and biking trails and a diverse wildlife. There are fantastic bathing opportunities with child-friendly beaches and cosy spots to lie on large boulders. Pitches: We have pitches with electricity, water and drainage, as well as grassy pitches in different sizes. Find the pitch that suits you best! The majority of the pitches with electricity have 10 amps with CEE sockets. If necessary, a CEE adapter can be purchased directly from the shop on site. Shop: In the same building as the reception, you will find the shop on Duse Udde. The shop has the same opening hours as the reception. The shop will be restocked gradually during the spring so that we can offer the full range during the summer season. Restaurant Fyren: Welcome to Fyren restaurant! The name ‘Fyren’ doesn't just sound like a lighthouse – it actually is one! With a magnificent view of Lake Vänern. Here you can enjoy a good lunch and dinner – or why not both?
