"Great location in the archipelago - Well-kept site at the end of a road on a peninsula, frequented by well-heeled permanent campers. Only two family bathrooms and a few toilets open out of season. Everything is very well maintained and of a high standard (underfloor heating). Reception is also only staffed sporadically during this time. Check-in and check-out otherwise by machine. Due to the limited communication possibilities in this respect, there is no information on the use of the showers with the chip card or on the existing supply possibility at a small grocery store in Fyrudden, about 3 km away. Very beautiful bathing cliffs and a picturesque hiking trail around a small peninsula right next to the campsite. A detailed map is available to take away from reception.

"Expensive, impersonal, dirty sanitary facilities, fantastic location - A campsite could hardly be more beautiful, the archipelago is fantastic, you can set off from the campsite and be right on the huge, rounded rocks. Dreamlike! Unfortunately, the operators seem to be resting on their laurels, as neither the friendliness nor the sanitary facilities nor the price/performance ratio were convincing. The welcome is rather impersonal and there are no excursion tips or similar. The sanitary facilities are basically nice and quite new. However, the showers only run for 90 seconds and then have to be reactivated with the card for 2SEK. That's annoying, you feel like you're just pressing your card. The absolute killer was that the toilets were simply NOT cleaned during our stay (2 nights). At the end there was no more toilet paper, no towels to dry your hands, it was filthy. We then left a day early. The toilets directly at the campsite were simply closed. The "unique pebble beach" advertised so attractively on the website is actually only so unique because of its massive algae growth. It is not beautiful. Finally, something positive: there are 2 superbly located barbecue areas by the sea. Fishing is probably really good, as some impressive catches were carried past us. And the place is also ideal for kayakers.

" - For us, Ekön Camping is one of the most beautiful campsites on the southern east coast. This is the third time we have visited the site. It is the ideal place for all water sports enthusiasts. Boat and kayak hire is right on site, and there are several jetties for swimmers. A golf course is about 3 km away. Nice hikes or excursions by bike are no problem. The site is well managed. The sanitary building is really nice, there are two single bathrooms, I always found everything clean. The kitchen area is a bit small for the high season but still fine. Dishwashers, microwaves, ovens, everything is there. From mid-August the place is no longer full. But quality has its price. Large pitch with lake view costs 330 SEK. But it's worth it!

" - Place with a beautiful location on the archipelago, but at the time we were there, overcrowded and noisy. The main sanitary building was being renovated in mid-July and was not usable :-(
