"Beautiful place with potential for improvement - The campsite is kept simple. But that didn't bother us. Of course, you can hear the ship's diesel engines at night. The quiet times were not respected by the guests passing through. There was a big festival and the music was played until 1:30 am. Mr. v. D. is not very friendly and sometimes very derogatory in his manner. He also seems quickly overwhelmed. That was really annoying. As there aren't many campsites nearby, people come anyway. So much more could be made of this campsite.

"Amazing behavior - I had pre-booked a car, tent and electricity for a week. The reception was rather brusque and I was asked three times if I really wanted to stay for a week. I was told to move the tent after half the time so that the grass underneath would get light and not turn yellow. I did so, left for a short time and someone with a bigger car and a large awning was standing very close to my tent. All evening, door open, door closed, light on, light off, conversations until well after midnight right next to the head of my tent. A clarifying conversation didn't get off to a good start, everyone blamed the other. It was also Matjeswoche in Glückstadt, so we had to move closer together. I broke off my stay in a huff. They then wanted to charge me for electricity, even though it hadn't worked at all.

"Place of transit - Stayed on the pitch for two nights, which was enough. Toilets and showers adequate but could do with a beauty treatment. Nothing big but changing the shower curtains would be a start🤔 There's also something to see all around (watching ships on the dyke or the N-O-K lock) You can even take a look at the city. It's fine for cycling and/or hiking, but otherwise.

"A nice place for a bit of relaxation - You're in good hands here for a weekend of relaxation. The operator is very constant, namely constantly unfriendly. Unbelievable how you can treat your paying GUESTS in this tone. The sanitary building is very old, but always clean!

"Simple but beautiful - Very nice owners, very quiet location, very fair price. C-place is quite simple. But everything you need is there. The sanitary building is simple but clean. The sheep are right next door on the dyke. Relaxing and long walks and bike rides are possible. You can easily get to Hamburg from Elmshorn by public transport. You can order bread rolls the day before. Unfortunately, the site and the town have no other shopping facilities. You have to go to the nearest surroundings. The electricity meter is located in the connection box and can be checked by the guest at any time Power connection with blue plug (CEE16). Very important! Please note that the C-pitch is not connected to the municipal sewage system and has its own disposal pit. It is therefore very important not to use any toilet chemicals so as not to destroy the bacterial culture. The owner points this out on his homepage. It was very relaxing for me and I would come again.

Von Hamburg aus: Wenn Sie aus Richtung Hamburg kommen, fahren Sie auf der A23 Richtung Husum/Heide. Verlassen Sie die Autobahn in Elmshorn (Abfahrt 14) und folgen Sie den Schildern nach Glückstadt/B431. Fahren Sie auf der B 431 durch Elmhorn und …Neuendorf bis zum großen Kreisel und biegen dort links nach Kollmar ab. Auf der zweiten Kreuzung biegen Sie dann links in die Kleine Kirchreihe ein und fahren diese bis zum Ende. Dort sehen Sie bereits das Einfahrtstor zum Campingplatz. Von Glückstadt aus: Sollten Sie mit der Fähre über die Elbe von Wischhafen nach Glückstadt übersetzen, fahren Sie auf der B 431 Richtung Elmshorn bis zum großen Kreisel (dort ist links eine Getreide-Mühle mit Silos) und biegen hier nach rechts in Richtung Kollmar ab. Alle Hinweisschilder vorher ignorieren Sie einfach, denn dort würden Sie auf kleinen Straßen (Wirtschaftswegen) fahren. Auf der zweiten Kreuzung biegen Sie dann links in die Kleine Kirchreihe ein und fahren diese bis zum Ende. Dort sehen Sie bereits das Einfahrtstor zum Campingplatz. Öffentliche Verkehrsmittel für Ausflüge Die Anbindung an den ÖPNV ist leider nicht optimal – der Bus fährt Kollmar nur wochentags und dann auch nur morgens, mittags und abends an. Sollten Sie einen PKW zur Verfügung haben, fahren Sie bis Glückstadt (12 km) oder Elmshorn (12 km) und ab dort fahren die Züge alle 20 Minuten, bzw. alle halbe Stunde. Viele unserer Gäste, die diese P&R-Plätze ansteuerten, beurteilten die Möglichkeit als sehr gut. So ist auch der Heimweg nach dem Musical-Besuch kein Problem. Unsere Gäste kaufen häufig ein Tages-Ticket, das dann Ermäßigungen innerhalb Hamburgs (u. a. Stadt- oder Hafenrundfahrt) beinhaltet.
