"Party weekend - The campsite is huge and mainly filled with permanent campers. Unfortunately, the site is extremely noisy and everyone seems to be allowed to make as much noise as they want. The sanitary facilities are well maintained and well cleaned. The range of food and drinks is sufficient and there is a delicatessen on the site. There is plenty of space for walking the dog and swimming is also possible. Ideal for cycling.

"Camping Grafinsel - Campsite is very nice and clean, staff lousy. Overworked, bad-tempered, sold their laughter. World trip to the sanitary facilities which are very clean!

"Two times Grav Insel, Wesel. The first and the last time - We had booked a short vacation from 03.09.2023 to 12.03 with a motorhome on Grav Island. The place was very clean in all parts, be it the toilets, showers, just the whole place. The staff were, without exception, all very friendly and helpful. First of all, the toilet facilities (there were two of them) were very far away from most of the pitches (from our pitch about 800 steps to the left, only toilets, also to the right, where the showers were). There were only washed-out paths paved with grass pavers. The internet said that there was free WiFi, a restaurant, a snack bar, a bakery and a supermarket, except for the WiFi. The "restaurant" was only open sporadically, the snack bar was closed, the market/bakery was at the far back of the building. Free WLAN did not work. A very steep ramp leads down to the toilets/showers for people with walking difficulties. We needed well over 50 meters of cable to the power connection box that was assigned to us, although it would only have been about 15 meters to another one. We also didn't get much of a rest at lunchtime, there was a lot of work going on at the Charlee's (Flex, chisel hammer, etc.) We had to break off our short vacation after 4 days due to private reasons at home. When we asked the reception about this, they regretted it, but no remaining money could be paid out, perhaps there would be the possibility of a voucher, but only valid until 31.10.2023. However, as I won't be able to use it until the expiry date, I said I would give it away. We've been back home for a week and haven't heard from the "ladies/gentlemen" as promised. I don't know this business behavior from any other campsite and I am very disappointed with the very disappointed with the handling. I had imagined my birthday on Grav Island to be different! My rating: -* (less than one star)

"Okay, far from 5 stars - Not a 5-star place. Unfortunately we fell completely into the water. A week of constant rain. We couldn't distract the children with WLAN as no connection was possible. The operators blamed it on the island location and lack of facilities. So it was a complete flop. The playgrounds for children urgently need to be renovated. Apparently hardly anyone cares about maintenance. What a pity.

"Entertainment industry area - Booked 3 nights for the beginning of July; paid €120 by card on arrival and found an overcrowded, hyped-up industrial camping fair; after 2 hours of continuous techno noise from the neighbors, we had to leave. The so-called administration documented our personal details and account details and assured us of a refund. Despite repeated email requests, this has not yet happened. So the money remains "stolen"! In view of the overcapacity of this entertainment industry area, you can work out for yourself the proportionate seasonal loot that is likely to be generated in this way.

"Desolate - Disposal station for camper vans and toilets is in the middle of the pitches. The waste disposal site is also located next to it. There is hot water for washing up only at certain times. Showers are also only available at certain times.

Rheinabwärts von Wesel am schönen Niederrhein gelegen, umgeben von Wasser und einer herrlichen Auen- und Wiesenlandschaft. Der ideale Ort …die wertvollste Zeit im Jahr zu verbringen - Ihrem Urlaub. Bei uns wird Ihr Campingurlaub zum Erlebnis, ob baden, wandern, Rad fahren, tauchen, angeln, Boot fahren oder einfach nur in der Sonne liegen, bei uns ist (fast) alles möglich. Unser besonderes Augenmerk haben wir dabei auf die Wünsche unserer “kleinen“ Campinggäste gelegt. Bei einer Rundfahrt in der Rappelkiste lernen Sie die Insel kennen. Im Streichelzoo freuen sich unter anderem der Esel von Wesel „Julius“ und das Shetlandpony „Jerry“ auf die Kleinen und im neuen Abenteuerland sind der Phantasie keine Grenzen gesetzt. In den Sommerferien findet zudem noch ein Kinder- und Jugendanimationsprogramm durch die Campingkirche statt, so dass Sie Ihre Kinder gerade noch zu den Mahlzeiten sehen werden und Sie sich selbst auch richtig erholen können.
