"Borderline - We had booked a pitch with a dog, so we came to the south pitch. We were aware of this. This requires long detours, for example to get bread rolls with a dog, about 500m, partly along the country road. This is clearly audible on the tourist pitches of the dog area, especially motorcycles and large farm equipment, distance approx. 150 m as the crow flies Tourist pitches are very narrow, arrivals and departures resemble Tetris at a higher level. Sani very outdated, but clean. The dog shower right next to the faeces sink is a no-go, and the fact that you have to bend 1.1 m over the sink to flush is simply disgusting. Everything is fenced in like a warehouse, everything can only be opened with various cards and keys, to operate the 2 meter high electric gate you have to leave the car when entering and exiting. There are signs everywhere telling you what is forbidden. The vests worn by the site staff don't say "Service" or anything nice, but are labeled with the word "PLATZORDNER". Absolutely wrong. The worst thing was the treatment by the restaurant: We had pre-booked for 8 people for a very long time for April 30th. This was confirmed to us by email. On 29.04. in the morning we made sure again whether it would work, as the May dance was also announced there. This was explicitly confirmed. In the afternoon around half past three I received a call to say that it wouldn't work after all. Great, no alternative was offered, we were forced to find an alternative in the area ourselves. Fortunately, we found something just under 6 km away, as the area is not so densely populated. As we were leaving, when we had to drive half a kilometer around the outside of the facility to drop off the various means of transport, we were asked if we liked it. We said no and referred to our behavior with the restaurant reservation. We received nothing credible in reply, just laconic blah blah blah. Never again, a complete shambles.

Description

Profile

It's not for nothing that the camping megatrend inspires so many people! Nature, relaxation in the countryside, holidays on your doorstep – and nice people everywhere who have the same thing in mind: a good time! To help you find …the perfect place for your camping holiday, we have different areas, pitch sizes, locations and services. Take your time to choose your favourite place and book it online on this website. You can choose between the mill camp area with 80 to 90 m² of space, the castle camp area with 80 m² of space or the dune camp area with 40 to 50 m² of space. We know that for many people, a family holiday is only perfect if their beloved four-legged friend comes along. That's why you can also spend your holiday with your dog on our south-facing pitch. Our goal is to make your stay a success. In addition to culinary delicacies ranging from burgers to beef and fish, and including crisp salads, there is something for everyone. When the weather is nice and summery, the beer garden of the Campino restaurant is a popular meeting place for camping and non-camping guests. During the season, you can get fresh bread rolls every morning from the regional baker ‘Gerards’ in Rees in our shop. If you have forgotten something important at home, you will not only find baked goods here, but also products for your daily needs, food and everything related to camping. There are various play areas and playgrounds on the grounds of the Wisseler See holiday and leisure park. You will find playgrounds, for example, at the outdoor pool, at the trekking huts, in the castle camp or on the southern field. Here you will also find sand play areas, slides, climbing facilities and swings. If you fancy a bit of sport during your relaxing family holiday, there are beach volleyball courts, a football pitch and various table tennis tables in the outdoor pool area. We rent out high-quality equipment, just contact us at the reception. We rent out bicycles, Kettcars, beach volleyball, board games, CEE adapters, beer table sets and rental grills.
