"Beautiful but unfriendly (not for big/tall people) - VERY NICE PLACE BUT UNFRIENDLY RECEPTION ATTENTION: There are low-hanging branches, which can be a problem for large (high) motorhomes. Walk on first. The campsite is beautifully laid out. However, the lady at reception was extremely snippy, unfriendly and not at all helpful. The day was short in the ass but only short.

"Not bad - Sanitary clean Well maintained site Very nice people here. Dog also welcome. That's all we need. The only (small) disadvantage is that there is no restaurant on or near the site.

"Spa stay - again and again - The site is not overcrowded and more suitable for passing through / a few days. But that's not because of the site. Aabenraa doesn't offer soooo much in terms of tourism. Especially in bad weather, the possibilities are quickly exhausted. The harbor is new. The marina is a nice place to sit and eat. The shopping mile is short, Danish, nice and well-kept. Investments have also been made here. The site is terraced and partly hedged. There are also 2 family bathrooms in the sanitary building. Everything is clean and well-kept - even if it is a bit old. The staff are very friendly. Bread rolls can be ordered in advance. WLAN works very well. There are various cabins to rent. The "reception building" could do with a little renovation.

"Nice, clean place, not far from the highway - We stayed at the campsite for 2 nights at the start of our trip to Denmark and were given a very friendly welcome. In the area where we were able to choose a pitch, the pitches were small but absolutely sufficient for a stopover. The pitches are very level and the electricity connection is right on the pitch. On the road with a folding caravan, we really appreciated the hedges along the pitches, which provide protection from the wind. The facilities in the wash house make a new impression and the cleanliness is impeccable. We were happy to take advantage of the bread roll service on offer and were satisfied with the quality. Unfortunately, a small group of campers did not keep to the night's rest, which disturbed my sleep on the second night. Aabenraa is easy to reach on foot and well worth exploring. We will definitely visit the site again on future trips to Denmark.

"Quiet campsite at a fair price - We were only there for one night, but everything was well organized. The pitches were good, the sanitary facilities were very clean, new and well maintained, it was pleasantly quiet and the reception (available around the clock) was very friendly. Unfortunately, I didn't discover any play facilities for children, but we spent most of the evening on the small pitch. Price/performance fits!

The campsite has both closed and open pitches with hedges around, in addition some of the pitches have a fantastic view over the Aabenraa Fiord or the city. The campsite is located …only 2 km from the town center, 300 m to the forest and 500 m to the beach and the harbour. All the good things are within easy reach. On Aabenraa Citycamping we offer stays for guests with tents, caravan or auto camper, and in cabins or in the familyhostel.
