"Nice place - Nice campsite at good distance if you come from the ferry in Kristiansand. Plumbing simple and somewhat dated but adequate. Kitchenette with hotplates and kettle for free use. Friendly reception. The campground is quiet, by the water and there was enough space. Nice price NOK 230 per night for 1 person + tent + car.

"A beautiful place to relax and linger - We were actually totally satisfied here. A nice place, also for children, with a playground and water trampoline. We found the site reasonably priced. You can also start several excursions from here. The sanitary facilities were cleaned regularly, but it was still not very nice. The trees make it feel like you're in the middle of nature. We think it's a shame that the number of pitches with electricity is limited. There are plenty of pitches without electricity, why would you sit in front of a power socket with your tent or camper van and not use it, then you could have been nice and chosen another pitch. There was enough choice.

"Cheap campsite, well worth it! - I spent a few days at this campsite with my children in the summer. There are lots of facilities for children (free kayaks, bouncy cushions, playground, petting zoo) and the surrounding area is great for exploring. Despite its location on a main road, the campsite was relatively quiet. There are small events on the campsite many evenings a week.

"very pleasant - Very pleasant large campsite, free choice of pitches, very friendly groundskeeper, speaks German, Dutch, Norwegian and English ;-), leisure facilities available for young and old, price/performance ratio: TOP!!!!

"Very pleasant place - For us, this is one of the most pleasant places in Norway. We received a very friendly welcome and were helped wherever possible. Not a luxury site, but the facilities are clean and well maintained. Small but nice!

"Passing through - Very nice and polite staff, and our wives particularly liked the blonde-haired young groundskeeper! Everything was very clean and quiet despite a large group of scouts. Highly recommended!!!

Ein Campingplatz am nördlichen Ende des Setesdals, direkt am Fluss Otra. Eine Hälfte des Platzes ist für Camper bereit, die andere von Miethütten besiedelt. Dauercamper finden sich hier keine. Große Auswahl an Spielgerät für die Kleinen, Wassertrampolin im Fluss, Ziegen …und Kaninchen. Außerdem gibt es einen Kanuverleih, Bootsverleih, Angelkarten, Wanderkarten und Grillabende mit Livemusik.
