"nice CP on the edge of an old chateau - The pitches are beautifully situated under old trees. We were only there for two nights as we were passing through, but you could certainly stay here for longer.

"Well located, clean, well maintained - We stayed at this campsite for one night on a motorcycle tour. It is very well located, you can walk to the village in 5 minutes, where there is a bakery, for example, where you can even have breakfast on Sunday mornings. Almost opposite there is a shopping area with a gas station. There is a restaurant on the site where you can eat well and cheaply. The pitches are clean and well-kept and the same applies to the sanitary facilities. Unfortunately, you can still hear some of the street noise, especially in the tent.

"Great! - Superb welcome, availability, kindness... shops and Ideal Palace within walking distance. Excellent stay (4 days) with a child (4 years old) who had a great time on the trampoline... and with the entertainment.

"Attention double axles ! - We were in Hauterives on 05.04.15 and would have liked to see the Palais Ideal. Unfortunately, we had a tandem axle trailer behind our car. So we were turned away in a friendly but very firm manner. The lady at reception even tried to find an alternative site (10 km away). However, we would have been completely alone there on a large pitch and then decided not to stay there.
