"Relaxation near the sea - Very nice place, partly parceled out with pretty grasses and trees. Some pitches have a wooden seating platform, creating a lovely ambience with an additional seating area. There is a heated swimming pool/hall and an outdoor natural beach pool for splashing around and lazing. The campsite is family-run and very well maintained. Very suitable for families and bathing fun by the sea approx. 3 km away. In the high season, entertainment and games are offered and a small restaurant is open. Well-maintained sanitary facilities and washing-up area, cabins for wheelchairs available. There is a bus service to Sable D'Olonne during the season. The surrounding area is recommended for cycling, but not for hiking. The focus here is on the beach and sea and the beach promenade if you want to be active outside the campsite

"a little disappointed - pools+small beach fine except for signs indicating unsupervised swimming (1 lifeguard for 2 pools), no horse-drawn carriages as advertised on the site, 4 events over 7 nights, overall fairly welcoming staff, snack restaurant very disappointing, cocktails served by the owner's daughter very top-not a cocktail at all without her, bar closed between 2 and 5pm, lawnmower passed over some empty pitches in the middle of the afternoon, nice for people taking a siesta or relaxing by reading a book!! on the other hand, a practical and reasonably-priced shuttle bus for a trip to Sables d'Olonne, sanitary facilities + shower, cleanliness 5/10, children's games to be improved, especially the inflatable.
