"Vacation in nature and history - On the landing beach of the Allied invasion on 06.06.1944 Many historical sites in the surrounding area. Be sure to visit the Utah Beach Museum and the small town of St. Mere Eglise.

"disappointing place - The sanitary building is closed from 23.00 - 07.00, only an emergency toilet is open. In addition, the wild campers next door use the facilities free of charge - nothing is done by the site management!

" - It's a pity that the rates are not shown at reception or on the website! Sometimes there are surprises between the rate announced on arrival and the rate shown on the invoice !!!!! I strongly advise against this for motorhome owners .......

Utah Beach, situated just 3 hours from Paris, boasts long golden beaches for sandcastles and sand yachting, the sea for swimmers, sea-shell hunters and fresh air fiends and a wonderful natural environment for bird watching and walking. We also have …a heated pool with aquagym sessions, sauna, jacuzzi and a paddling pool for the kids as well as providing various evening entertainments. Not forgetting all the charm of this unique, emotionally charged site.
