"Pure freedom.... come when you want. - For me as a motorcycle traveler it's really important, I want to get out of my bike clothes quickly and not spend 30 minutes in an office filling out paperwork while my boots are dripping with sweat. Simply drive there without registering, set up the tent and either bring €10/overnight stay to the flight office or drop it in the letterbox before departure. That's it. No papers... pitch number and all that club nonsense. Simply brilliant. Every German official is turning in his grave, although I am happy to help him. An ideal overnight stop if you're traveling from northern Germany to Bavaria by motorcycle and don't want to know anything about the A7. Driving through the east of Germany is much more relaxed.

"Very nice and quiet campsite - A very nice campsite right on the Dolmar with a wonderful view. This campsite is ideal for relaxing in a quiet location. Among other things, it is possible to go on a hike or a bike ride up the Dolmar. All in all, everything went smoothly and the staff were very friendly. We would love to come again.

"Quiet camping oasis - A very nice, small and cozy place with a great view over the Thuringian Forest. There are plenty of pitches for motorhomes, trailers and tents. Clean sanitary facilities, very friendly staff. If you want to enjoy a few quiet and relaxing days with a beautiful view, this is the place for you. Highly recommended!
