"Guter Campingplatz mit Schwimmbad (außen) - Campingplatz mit wenig Bewuchs, Schöne Rasenflächen mit großen Stellplätzen und stark abfallendem Gelände. Relativ großer Ausgleich nötig. Strand (schmal) mit Ligewiese direkt am Platz anschließend. Sehr schön überdecktes Areal zum Sitzen, Abwaschen, Grillen und Kochen. Sanitäranlagen OK.

"Schöner Platz mit Einschränkungen - Der Platz ist wunderbar gelegen. Direkt am Meer, ruhig, mit großem Spielplatz. Sanitärgebäude sind zwar nicht ganz neu, aber sehr sauber. Betreiber sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Soweit so gut. Die Einschränkungen sollte man auch kennen: Die Plätze mit Aussicht zum Meer sind allesamt mit mehr oder weniger Gefälle. Wohnwagen und Wohnmobile also mit Keilen, Zelte haben Pech. Weiter unten wird es dann waagerecht, aber kein Blick aufs Meer und recht weite Wege zum Sanitärhaus. Außerdem: Interessante Ziele gibt es in der Nähe recht wenig. Kattegatcenter in Grenaa (Aquarium) und ein paar nette Wanderwege... Für alles andere muss man weiter fahren. Einkaufen in Grenaa... Geht... aber nur mäßig toll.

"Gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis - Große Stellplätze mit toller Aussicht aufs Meer. Das Gefälle im Gelände ist nicht zu stark, so dass ein Auffahrkeil ausreicht bzw. nicht erforderlich ist. Es ist nur ein Kiesstrand direkt am Platz, es ist jedoch ein solarbeheizter Pool zum Baden vorhanden. Zum Sandstrand nach Grenaa fährt man mit dem Auto ca. 10 Minuten. In den Sommerferien werden täglich wechselnde Aktivitäten für Groß und Klein angeboten. Das Angeln hat vom Strand war erfolgreich. Wir haben das günstige Ferienangebot gebucht. Alles ist sauber und gepflegt! Wir waren nicht zum letzten Mal auf diesem Platz!

" - Det er en dejlig og rolig plads for både børn og voksne. Der er en rigtig dejlig natur i området. Jeg tror ikke man finder bedre værter end de 4 der er på pladsen her.

Fornæs Camping kombinerer det bedste af campinglivets glæder for hele familien. Vi er en velplejet og børnevenlig campingplads på Djursland med blandt andet en gratis opvarmet swimmingpool, 2 legepladser, minigolf med 18 huller samt en petanquebane. Fornæs Camping er et …af Djurslands lystfiskerparadis. Da vores campingplads ligger lige ud til Kattegat giver det jer rig mulighed for at fiske eller tage på et af vores dykkerevents. Vores kiosk tilbyder et stort udvalg af tilbehør til dit fiskeri. I er velkommen til at tage jeres egen båd med, da vi har eget bådslip fra campingpladsen. Fornæs Camping har rene og velholdte faciliteter så som et stort rummeligt køkken samt to udekøkkener og pæne bade, som må bruges af alle campingpladsens gæster. Trænger i til en forfriskning har vi på pladsen en kiosk og Mormors café, der serverer god dansk mad som i kender det hjemmefra
