"Not recommended camping - Poor sites for tent campers; too full and sloping mostly sloping. All very lukewarm water at dishwashing facilities. Showers not included despite high price. No kitchen facilities ( which is common at most campsites in Norway and Sweden). Reception that is difficult if you do not have a camping pass and hopelessly slow. Reception who can't find the already paid overnight fee when you leave (luckily I had kept the receipt). Way too expensive for what you get (most expensive campsite of all my vacation through Norway and Sweden). SEK 325,- for 1 person with small tent.

"Nice place next to a moose park - The campsite is located above the lake on a plateau. A short path leads from the campsite to the small bathing beach. There is a steam bath/sauna on a raft in the lake, which can be reached by rowing boat and can be hired. The sanitary facilities are rustic but very clean. Unfortunately, there is no anteroom in the shower where you can change. This has to be done in the washroom, from where you also go into the shower. Nice staff, bread service available. The moose park is within walking distance. You just have to cross the road.

"Elk farm - We spent 2 days here on our way to the archipelago. Very friendly welcome, nice pitch no. 137, and there are facilities at the campsite, in reception and in the "restaurant" next door. The bathing area at the lake is small and the water is not completely clean. We have experienced other lakes in Sweden. The sanitary facilities are getting on in years. Given the size of the site, a larger number of toilets would be desirable. There are many permanent campers on this site.

"beautiful place at the lake - Beautiful site situated on a plateau by the lake. Owner access to the bathing bay. Steam bath on the lake can be booked. Small kiosk and restaurant. Large playground. Free W-Lan at the kiosk. 500m further on there is a great elk ranch. 20 km further on is the Dalsland Acivity Center with zipline, pony rides etc. Quite uneven terrain. Small recreation room at the wash house, oven and microwave. Toilets a bit outdated.

"Simple but nice place. Partly uneven pitches. - Beautiful place above the lake. Small bathing beach. Steam sauna possible. Pitches not too big, partly uneven. Friendly. Sanitary building getting on in years. Showers cost extra. Good starting point for activities. Moose park opposite.

"beautifully situated, moose park opposite - Ed was actually only supposed to be our starting point for a day trip to Oslo, as the Gothenburg => Olso train has its last stop on Swedish territory here. But because the site is so beautifully situated, the elk park is right opposite and we took a great boat trip from Håverud via the aqueduct and across a wonderfully situated lake, we spontaneously extended our stay. We would like to come back again.
