" - Quiet site with good sanitary facilities in the low season. Was our base for Liverpool. There is a quaint pub approx. 1km away.

" - The second stop on our trip to England took us near Manchester, as I had tickets for a ManU game with my sons. Unfortunately, this game was on Holy Saturday and apparently all the families with small children from the big cities were united on this pitch. In addition to the "normal" pitch, a large meadow next to the pitch was used as a tent pitch. Accordingly, the noise level was immense. As we were only on the site for two nights, we were able to come to terms with it. However, I fear that it is just as turbulent here in summer. The sanitary facilities are well maintained, but simply far too small for the number of campers. Two houses with 3 showers each for the men are very tight. The location of the campsite is outside the town in the neighborhood. However, there is no supermarket on the site, so you have to make regular trips.

Gegenüber der beschrankten Rezeption befindet sich ein kleiner Parkplatz mit Stromanschlüssen. Harrison`s Royal Umpire ist ein familienfreundlicher Park mit einem sehr hübschen, großen und gut platziertem Kinderspielplatz mit Kletterwelt, Schaukeln, Rutschen und Sitzmöglichkeiten für Erwachsene nahe der Zeltwiese. Der super …gemütliche Caravanpark ist top ausgestattet und Sie finden hier sehr saubere und moderne Sanitäranlagen mit Fön, Toilettenpapier und Handwaschseife. Auch für Menschen mit Gehbehinderung wurden hübsche und saubere Wasch- und Duschräume angelegt. Im Sanitärbereich befinden sich ein gut ausgestatteter Waschsalon und eine geräumige Küche. Den Schlüssel zu diesen Räumen bekommen Sie an der Rezeption ausgehändigt. Die Stellplätze befinden sich auf festem Boden. Strom ist am Stellplatz und Trinkwasser oder Abwasser unmittelbar in der Nähe nutzbar. Auf dem Platz wurde ein sehr schöner Park zum spazieren und entspannen angelegt und man kann überdimensionales Schach und Dame spielen. Der Park zeigt sich mit einem kleinen Supermarkt der heimische Produkte verkauft. WIFI ist kostenlos und funktioniert an der Rezeption am besten. In der Schulferienzeit sollten Sie für einen längeren Aufenthalt rechtzeitig reservieren. Spontane Anreisen für Kurzurlauber oder Durchreisende sind hier bis 18:oo Uhr kein Problem. Außerdem können Wigwams gemietet werden.
