Hestehaven Camping is a family-friendly 4-star campsite located in Fjellerup on the Djursland peninsula in the Midtjylland region of Denmark, close to the Kattegat coast. Set in a quiet coastal area with small villages and open countryside, the campsite offers …a relaxed base for both nature lovers and families. Guests can stay with their own caravan, motorhome or tent, or choose from cabins and glamping accommodation. The site is clearly laid out and suitable for families as well as couples looking for a calm and uncomplicated camping holiday. The campsite offers a range of facilities, including free Wi-Fi, free private parking, a heated outdoor swimming pool (seasonal), a children’s playground, a sauna, a sun terrace and a communal lounge. A garden area provides additional space to relax after an active day. The sandy beach at Fjellerup Strand is within easy walking distance and is known for its shallow, calm water, making it suitable for swimming, beach walks, fishing and other seaside activities. The surrounding area is ideal for cycling and walking, with quiet roads and coastal routes. For excursions, Djurs Sommerland, one of Denmark’s most popular amusement parks, is around 12 km away. Cultural attractions such as the Memphis Mansion can also be reached by car. Nature enthusiasts may enjoy a day trip to Nationalpark Mols Bjerge, located about 40 km south, known for its rolling hills, varied landscapes and well-marked hiking trails.
