"Good place for ferry passage - We spent two nights here before our ferry passage to Norway. Overall very pleasant although often very windy.

"Beautiful place - We only wanted a pitch for one night. But we stayed 3 nights. That speaks for itself. There is a lot to discover or you can enjoy nature.

"Ideal for the ferry - Despite the many arrivals and departures, a beautiful green site with a view of the sea. The sanitary facilities are absolutely fine. Gas stoves are available free of charge in an outdoor kitchen. Very friendly reception.

"Great location - A very nice, pleasant campsite in a great location right on the North Sea. The sanitary facilities are modern and clean. The reception is professional and uncomplicated. It is of course more of a transit campsite due to its proximity to the Norway ferries

"great location at the lighthouse - A "transit site", but clean, quiet and in a top location, fresh bread rolls in the morning, clean sanitary facilities. Within walking distance of Hirtshals.

"Enough to tide you over - We stayed here for 2 nights to wait for our crossing to Norway. The site is simple and without trees. At our time the site was very full, so unfortunately the outdated sanitary facilities left a lot to be desired. Family bathrooms were available. The ferry terminal is about 5 minutes away.

Hirtshals Camping ist ein mittelgroßer Familienplatz in einmaliger Lage direkt am Nordseestrand. Am Ortsrand von Hirthals ist der Campingplatz schnell und leicht zu erreichen. Die Anlage wird zwischen Saisoncampern, Urlaubern und Miethütten aufgeteilt. Hier gibt es auch einen Minimarkt für …die nötigsten Dinge. Der Platz bietet sich auch an um auf die Fähre nach Norwegen am nächsten Tag zu warten. Freizeitaktivitäten in der Umgebung: Bernsteinsuchen, Strandspaziergänge, den Ort Hirtshals erkunden, Bunkermuseum, Leuchtturm, Ozeanarium.
