"Location on the Thames - We only used this campsite for a stopover on the way to London. It is located on the Thames, which is still narrow here, where many boats were moored. Price per night: 23 GBP. The sanitary facilities are accessible via a staircase and were clean.

" - Very tidy and well-kept place in a super quiet location directly on the Thames, great for swimming or paddling (but you can't rent anything for paddling). Great nature. Lots of birds, owls, geese, swans, wonderful! Great for dogs, huge meadows to run around on the Thames. Easy to drive in and out at all times. Sanitary only over stairs, clean but primitive. In 10 min. you are in Maidenhead at the station, trains leave every 15 min. to London Paddington. Perfect! Even with a dog! 20km from Windsor Castle, 40km from Harry Potter. Shopping on site is poor, no bread. Supermarket supposedly in the village, but we didn't find it, otherwise 6km away. No playground, just a playing field. Highly recommended place!!!

We are an ideal location for visiting Legoland® Windsor, Henley-on-Thames, Oxford & London and are proud holders of the Gold David Bellamy Conservation Award. We …welcome tourers, tents & motorhomes and have electric, hard-standing and premium multi-service pitches available. Fully serviced Caravan Holiday Homes and ReadyTents are available for hire Free showers including family shower rooms, disabled facilities, launderette, shop, nature trail, low level wooden children's trim trail (new for 2013), riverside picnic grounds, slipway, fishing in season, WiFi. You can purchase discounted one and two day tickets for Legoland® Windsor at our Touring Park Reception or online at the time of booking. Our customers can also take advantage of discounts at 28 different local businesses - please see our website for further details.

Directions to the Park Please do not follow your Sat Nav into Hurley Village From the A4 and M4 at Maidenhead Leave the M4 at Junction 8/9 (Maidenhead) and take the A404(M). Take the third exit (approximately 2 miles) onto …the A4130 signposted Henley. At the top of the slip road turn left and go straight across the Burchetts Green roundabout. At the top of the slip road turn left and go straight across the Burchetts Green roundabout. You will pass Temple Golf Club on your right as the road begins to wind down the hill towards Hurley. Follow the brown caravan park signs ignoring the turning into Hurley Village at East Arms Place and continue along the A4130 for a further ¾ mile turning right into Shepherds Lane. At the sharp right hand bend go straight on through the wood. At the crossroads proceed straight across into the touring park reporting to the warden at Reception. From the M40 at High Wycombe Leave the M40 at Junction 4 (Handy Cross) and take the A404(M). After the roundabout take the slip-road to the A4130 signposted Henley turning right at the Burchetts Green roundabout and proceeding as above. From Henley-on-Thames Take the A4130 towards Maidenhead for 5 miles. Approximately ½ mile past the Black Boys turn left into Shepherds Lane and proceed as above.
