"Very reserved reception, parking space rather a parking space - First of all, we only stayed at the campsite for one night. Our description is therefore more of a first impression. The reception was taciturn, you had the feeling of being a bit of a nuisance. No information about the infrastructure of the campsite, you had to ask for everything. The guest card (discounts e.g. in the thermal baths just around the corner) was not given to us and we didn't really want to hand it over even when asked (because it would have cost a €20 deposit - but we would have liked to have decided for ourselves whether we wanted to use it). Our caravan was then placed very strangely right in front of another camper, which was a bit uncomfortable for us and also not nice to stand on. Whether this is really a pitch or we were just parked there because we were only staying one night is unclear. The sanitary facilities were clean, with a coin-operated shower. The path there was completely unlit at night. The grounds look a bit unkempt and careless (lots of gravel). The location is actually great, we have often been on vacation in the area, but would not visit this place again because of the unfriendly reception and the impression that it is not really run with pleasure.

Das Gelände hat ganzjährig für seine Gäste geöffnet und bietet somit zu jeder Jahreszeit einen einzigartigen Blick auf die Allgäuer Alpen. Die unmittelbare Lage an der Iller und …der Verlauf des Gießbaches durch das Campinggelände sorgen für eine naturnahe und idyllische Atmosphäre. Direkt am Bach stehen Sonnenliegen und ein Grillplatz für die Urlauber zur Entspannung oder zum geselligen Beisammensein bereit. Die modernen Sanitäranlagen vor Ort sind zusätzlich mit einem Waschraum, Trockenraum, Spülraum und einer Entsorgungsstation ausgestattet. Zur kulinarischen Versorgung der Gäste trägt das platzeigene und gemütliche Bistro mit großer Sonnenterrasse bei. Der Campingplatz ist der ideale Ausgangspunkt für Fahrrad- und Wandertouren in die reizvolle Umgebung. Darüber hinaus bietet das Umland ein vielfältiges kulturelles Programm, interessante Sehenswürdigkeiten, verschiedene Sportmöglichkeiten, eine abwechslungsreiche Gastronomie und in der kalten Jahreszeit auch umfangreiche Wintersportmöglichkeiten.

Moderne Sanitäranlagen mit Dusch- und Einzelwaschkabinen, kompletter Sanitärraum für Behinderte, ausreichende Toiletten, Waschraum mit Waschmaschine und Trockner, ein Spülraum und die Entsorgungsstation runden das Angebot für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt ab. Im platzeigenen Bistro mit Sonnenterrasse bieten wir Kaffee und selbstgebackene Kuchen sowie kleine Speisen und erfrischende Getränke an und Gästen ohne Campingausrüstung (Wanderer, Radler, Biker etc.) bieten wir in 6 geräumigen Wohnfässern mit je bis zu 4 Schlafplätzen eine geräumige Übernachtungsmöglichkeit – kuschelig, angenehm warm und trocken. Toll: Auf unserem Campingplatz befindet sich eine Canyoning- und Raftingstation für "adrenalinhaltigen" Freizeitspass. Unser "IllerCamping" ist der ideale Ausgangspunkt für Fahrrad- und Wandertouren in die reizvolle Umgebung und das Umland bietet ein vielfältiges kulturelles Programm, interessante Sehenswürdigkeiten und zahlreiche Sportaktivitäten im Sommer wie im Winter sowie eine abwechslungsreiche Gastronomie.
