"we do not recommend the campsite - Unfortunately, we cannot recommend the campsite. Very, but really very unpleasant and arrogant staff/owner of the campsite. We tried a week stay - 3 people+car(Ford Tourneo Custom)+tent. From the beginning the gentleman from reception was looking for reasons why he could not accommodate us. The car is too big and heavy, but they have plenty of motorhomes at the campsite. The most condition was that we can stay if we don't go anywhere for a week. And then they just kicked us out! All this on a Monday night in the early evening and plenty of room at the campsite. Unfortunately can't give less than one star. They deserve -5.

"Very unfriendly and dirty but good location. - Super unfriendly owners. Absolutely not child-friendly. The children are told to be quiet when playing ball at 8pm...sanitary facilities really dirty. Washing up with queuing, as there are only three sinks. The briefing on the pitch is done under strict instructions and super hectic. The location is great, but that's all the site has to offer. We certainly won't be back.

"For the 8th time in the island camp and not the last time. - I was on the island campsite for the 8th time this week. As always, everything was great. I really like the good contact with the owners, Marie-Luise and Christian. All the staff are friendly and helpful. If you behave well, you will be treated well. I will certainly be back. Inselcamping lies on the southern shore of the lake "Attersee", on foot of the "Schafberg" (mountain) with a terrific view of the "Höllengebirge" (a mountain range). Our park-like, romantic camp site with its green space and shady trees is only …5 minutes (to walk) away from the centre of the village "Unterach". It is easily attainable and ideally located for trips to other villages of the famous "Salzkammergut" and to the festival-city Salzburg. Own lawn (for sunbathing) with a sandpit and a paddling pool connected to the lake Our own fish stock - Mondseeache (river) which runs directly through the camp site, nearby there is the centre of Unterach (no cars there!) with an exciting playground, football-ground, mini-golf, tennis, cycleways, water-ski school, boat rental
