"A good campsite with restrictions - The campsite is actually quite good. The sanitary facilities are simple but good and clean. They are cleaned twice a day. When the site is fully booked, there are bottlenecks at sanitary block 3 (by the river). Unfortunately, nobody pays attention to the behavior of the campers. It is very annoying and also annoying that fires are made in fire bowls with wet wood and thus the whole campsite is smoked in. You then have to close all the windows on the caravan or motorhome so that the smoke doesn't get inside. This is usually the case at the weekend when groups have arrived at the back of the campsite. If this had not been the case, we could recommend the site and the good restaurant.

"Worst camping we have ever visited!!! - Will never ever visit this place again!!! I have nothing more to say... But this evaluation site needs 39 more characters. So I fill it up with this text.

"Nice camping next to the river - We liked out stay at the Naabtal Camping. Like some reviews say, you can hear the street across the river at times, but this didn't bother us (we're from a big city, maybe we're used to more). We had a peaceful stay at the camping, a pitch in the shadow, close to the river, not too close (might have been dangerous with the little one). We usually walked to the modernized sanitary building, as this offered more comfort, especially for taking showers. The little shop is convenient, although opening times could be a bit unpredictable.

"Space is quite OK - Unfortunately, everything is still written down by hand on a piece of paper. All the data that you have already entered when registering online is requested again. On departure, I was asked to provide the electricity meter reading. I would have received a note about this on arrival. As I neither received this nor was it explained to me that this was necessary, I was called a liar by an elderly lady who doesn't want to pay for his electricity. I find that very impertinent. The sanitary facilities are functional.

"If only it weren't for the noise... - We spent a weekend at this site, which is really beautifully situated in the Naab valley directly on the cycle path, while visiting relatives in Regensburg. We were just as satisfied with the sanitary facilities and the restaurant as we were with the friendly staff and the overall atmosphere. However, the incessant noise from the nearby road even bothered my wife, which is saying something. It's certainly not the fault of the operators, but the campsite is (unfortunately) out of the question for us for a vacation stay.

Der Campingplatz Naabtal-Pielenhofen ist einer der schönsten Plätze Ostbayerns. Er liegt direkt an der Naab, eingerahmt von Wiesen und Wäldern. Die Anlage wurde Landessieger im Wettbewerb "Vorbildliche Campingplätze in der Landschaft" und ausgezeichnet mit einer Silbermedaille im Bundeswettbewerb. Der ca. …6 ha große, ganzjährig geöffnete Campingplatz gilt als besonders familienfreundlich. Unser Campingplatz ist als Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten des Donautals und des Bayerischen Waldes sehr beliebt. Fahrten zur alten Römerstadt Regensburg, Befreiungshalle bei Kelheim, Walhalla in Donaustauf, Burg Wolfsegg, Tropfsteinhöhle bei Velburg oder zum Jagdfalkenhof in Riedenburg können von hier aus unternommen werden. Der Fünfflüsse-Radwanderweg führt direkt am Campingplatz vorbei und lädt zu Fahrradtouren ein. Der Platz liegt günstig für Kanutouren auf den Flüssen Naab, Vils, Lauterach, Regen, Laaber und Donau. Der Campingplatz Naabtal-Pielenhofen bietet ein vielfältiges Freizeitangebot für Jung und Alt. Die Versorgung der Gäste ist auf das Beste gewährleistet.
