Kleine camping De Duin ligt prachtig landelijk gelegen op slechts twee kilometer afstand van het oude stadje Blokzijl, aan de oude dijk die vroeger het land van de Zuiderzee scheidde. In de directe omgeving van Blokzijl is het nationaal park …Weerribben – Wieden te vinden en het ‘Venetië van het Noorden’: Giethoorn. Het rustige kampeerterrein grenst aan de oude boerderij. Op dit terrein zijn 15 ruime kampeerplaatsen beschikbaar, allen voorzien van elektriciteit en draadloos internet. Er is zwem- en viswater aanwezig op slechts 150 meter afstand en aan vele voorzieningen zijn gedacht.
