"5 days stay - We were there 9 years ago. Condition of the resort worse and prices higher. Had actually expected the infrastructure to be better maintained. But this was not the case everywhere.

"good location - extremely loud street noise on pitches at the back, I would not book these pitches again, otherwise nice location, a lot of mold in all showers, more mold remover and scrubbing recommended

"Overvalued and far too expensive - The campsite is far too expensive for me at €46.25 (discount already deducted) per night, a bratwurst with a slice of bread at €6.75 is outrageously expensive. The fact that I was told at 7:30 pm that I could still eat in the lounge when I had moved into my pitch and that I was told at 8:05 pm that I would only be offered pizza (frozen) because the kitchen closes at 8:00 pm is shameful, to put it mildly. Chris, the campsite tenant is business-minded, nothing more. He can be happy and lucky that his staff really took great care of everything and were always available. They really pulled it off!!! The site itself is beautifully situated, really tidy and well-kept.

Dog-owners with caravans or mobile homes can book special dog pitches at the campsite in Viechtach. As the pitches are fenced there is no need to keep your dog on a leash at the pitch. A large playground, a show-jumping course, lots of dog gates and paths and its own pond for dogs ensure that the four-legged guests do not get bored. And for our two-legged guests there is also a wide range of leisure activities on offer. A play area, swimming pool, sauna, restaurant with beer garden, barbecue huts, table tennis and beach volleyball guarantee variety and relaxation. A good network of paths is available to guests for long walks and bike rides - with or without their dog: for example to the Höllenstein reservoir or to the Grosser Pfahl nature reserve - Bavaria's no. 1 geotope NOW NEW! Dog training at the KNAUS Viechtach campsite! ""On holiday most people have time to look after their dog more intensively"", knows Elke Ujj from KNAUS Viechtach campsite. ""That is why we have been offering our guests regular dog training courses since the start of May."" For those who want to try agility, clicker training or dummy exercises, they can do so under the professional supervision of an experienced dog trainer - alone with their dog or in a small group.
