"Not good - On the whole I would not go to them again, the floors would have to be completely redone as well as the path and the bushes would also have to be done The kindergarten area was not sufficient The stairs down to the camping paramedic house are not handicapped accessible and also not well lit that does not work at all

"Definitely very nice for families with small children - Too little is offered for the money for adults! (This place is definitely great for parents with children!) We bought flypaper at reception which was only 16 years old. That speaks volumes about the care and commitment of the operators! There is obviously a lack of needs-oriented management here! The restaurant would have been better closed than presented in this antiquated state!

To the south east of …Cuxhaven, between the ""Balksee lake nature reserve"" and the attractive hills of Wingst lies the KNAUS campsite in a wind-protected location. Farms with thatched roofs, wide expanses of marshland and a large forest area make up the special charm of ""Cuxland"". A horse ride to the North Sea island of Neuwerk or a walk through the mud flats promise special holiday experiences. Exciting riding trips, long bike routes and the unique waterskiing facilities do the rest. The ""Church on the road"" program provides relaxation as well as trips to Stade, the ""Emigrant museum"" in Bremerhaven or a day trip to Helgoland. A trip to the ""Moor baths"" in Bad Bederkese or a journey on the transporter bridge across the Oste river are also worthwhile. You can feel good in Wingst. Your pets are also welcome to come along!
