"Good for visiting London, not for vacation - We were at the campsite for a visit to London and booked a pitch with electricity/water/waste water. The pitches are nice and large and the awning area is laid out with gravel. Waste is separated and there is a small store at the registration desk. The bus to London stops right outside the site. The showers didn't work 90% of the time, everything else did. Cleanliness of the sanitary facilities was good. The site is just before the low emission zone.

"Good starting point for London - with good public transport connections. Bus directly from CP only from May, alternatively drive by car to the train station (weekend parking free), but note LEZ. Very friendly staff, clean and normal standard sanitary facilities. Rental cabins recommended as an alternative to tents, but not cheap.

" - Nice place especially suitable for London tours. Sanitary simple, but very clean. Friendly staff. Bus does not run to the site until May, until then you have to walk about 20 minutes, but is not a real problem, connection to London impeccable.

" - Beautifully located site with its own bus stop. You can be in the center of London in an hour by bus and underground. Idyllic tent pitches, some with electricity. Basic sanitary facilities, but very clean. Overnight stay somewhat expensive, e.g. one person with a tent (without electricity) the equivalent of almost 25 euros.

"Ideal starting point for London - Very large pitches and if there isn't a youth group there, also in a quiet location. Ideal starting point for exploring London. A day ticket for the subway - and you are relatively cheaply mobile all day long. Stayed at the site in 2009, 2010 and 2011 - improved from year to year.

" - Well located for a sightseeing tour of London. However, the sanitary facilities are not particularly good. It smells slightly musty. You can get from the site to the Underground by bus, the bus stop is at the campsite itself. And then everywhere you want to go. However, the journey to the city center takes a good 45 minutes.
