"Beautiful location of the pitches - The pitches are almost all terraced, so you have a good view of the hole. The site is large, lots of mobile homes. The pitches are large. The sanitary facilities were always clean at the end of July. However, you have to drive to Fort William, as it is about 6 km. Shopping facilities are only available on the site.

"Large, quiet campsite - The campsite is very large, especially for caravans and motorhomes. The overall terraced location towards the loch is very nice. The pitches are mainly parking lots, functional but not beautiful. The reception is very friendly. There is nothing wrong with the sanitary facilities. The store has the most important things at reasonable prices. Almost frighteningly quiet despite the high season, which is also the problem: the site seems strangely soulless. Children's playground consists of a climbing frame. Price for motorhome + electric + 2 adults + 2 children: GBP 26.75 is fine. Fort Williams is relatively easy to reach.

"Very nice place - Wonderful location on a lake, not far from Fort William with very good shopping facilities and restaurants. Ideal location to get to know the Highlands.

"Ideal stop on a tour of Scotland.... - I can absolutely endorse what matthias-2323 writes about the course. That's exactly how we felt in May. I would also like to add that the site is the ideal stopover for taking the only cable car in Great Britain, seeing Ben Nevis and taking the Jacobite Steam Train over the Glenfinnan Viaduct. The distance to the town is quite long, without a car it is difficult and, as everywhere in Scotland, it is hard to find a pub that you can visit with a dog.

"On the trail of Harry Potter... - The campsite is a good starting point to visit Fort Williams, Ben Nevis and of course the railroad bridge and the Hogwards train (steam locomotive) from Harry Potter. Even better in fine weather than in rain and fog. But it's still worth it. So I can only recommend it.
