"Not again - No idea where this place got its good ratings! Barren site, no service, reception only open briefly in the evening with a grumpy groundsman. Very expensive for no service (NOK 400). Shower 30 outrageous NOK extra. Quite nice scenery by the lake, but poor value for money.

" - Very quiet campsite in typical Scandinavian self-service style. At the reception, which is only manned in the evenings, there is a "cash register of trust" with a discount scale if you stay longer than 3 days. A boat is even included for stays of 2 nights or more, which you can use to explore the beautiful "lake" (which is actually just a large widening of the Nes). If you are looking for peace and quiet and also like to make a campfire on the beach, this is the place for you. The prices are very reasonable and the sanitary facilities are clean and in good order. There is also the option of renting small log cabins. We would love to come back!

Nature itself has dedicated Liodden to a campsite, located along the river Hallingdalselva, at the opposite side of the main road RV 7 between Oslo and Bergen. If you want a quiet place and love nice nature, this is where …you should spend some time. The campsite is open from 15. May to 15. September. There are eight cabins and about a hundred places for caravans, campers or tents. Electricity is available. Free wireless internet, free fishing and free boats. Stay four days, and get the fifth free! Cabins included, but not in July and 1. week of August. The nearest village is Nesbyen, seven kilometres north, known as the warmest place in Norway.
