"Price-performance ratio not good, sanitary facilities closed during peak times. - The site has received a lot of awards, we just don't understand why. Neither more beautifully situated nor cleaner than other sites on Skye. Maybe it's the proximity to Dunvegan Castle. Paid 35 pounds for CamperVan with electric. The pitch was decent but not in a particularly nice location. Sanitary facilities very good, but all toilets and showers (man, woman, family) as well as dish area closed at the same time from 11:00-13:00h for cleaning. The rush beforehand was correspondingly enormous (as a huge crowd leaves the site pretty much at the same time, you then meet these people again directly in the queue at the castle). Otherwise, the staff were very friendly and there was also a hut for campers.

"Great place in the north-west of the Isle of Skye - Clean site with friendly and helpful operators * direct view and access to Loch Greshornish * clean sanitary facilities as good as new * gravel hardstanding pitches or grass pitches * opportunities for small purchases at reception (attached small farm) * two co-op stores in Portree (20 km away) * sightseeing opportunities in all directions, too much to list * stable WiFi connection

" - We have been here for several years and the site is allways better!!!! Best place to stay on Skye and best place to cover a visit to the western isles. If you go to Skye.... go there, perfect accomodation in every aspect. Fine and frendley people. We will go back, that is for sure!

" - Very dedicated site management, found a great pitch for us although a rally had rented almost the entire site. Good sanitary facilities, quiet location with a great view of the water. Good starting point for exploring the island as very centrally located.

We are a family run site in an ideal location for touring north Skye. We are particularly suited for those who like outdoor pursuits and wildlife. Our onsite facilities include canoe and cycle hire, a licensed shop, campers shelter and …off course showers and toilets.
