"New service center - Edit 2022: A new service building has been installed on the pitch this year. This now also meets higher standards in terms of cleanliness. I therefore retract my criticism from 2018 in this regard. Unfortunately, it is still not possible to edit your own reviews here on the portal.

"Great location - kitchen and sanitary area borderline - 2010: Beautifully situated place on the wonderful SOMMEN. Great natural bathing area with bathing jetty and platform. A jetty is available. The sanitary area is slightly undersized and can only be reached via steps below the campsite. The nearest larger town is around 25 km away. However, you can get the essentials at the village petrol station. Still 5 stars from me because of the beautiful location. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Edit 2018: A sanitary trailer has now also been set up on the campsite (3 bathrooms). However, this was usually not very clean. The lower service building is even more outdated. The hygienic condition must unfortunately be described as borderline. This applies in particular to the kitchen (mold on the walls and ceiling). I would now give 5 stars for the landscape and lake, but only one for the kitchen and sanitary area.

" - Certainly one of the most beautifully situated places. The nature around the site is a feast for the eyes and certainly a photographer's highlight. Great hiking opportunities. The site itself is rather functional. Metal pegs are recommended for pitching tents. On the pitch for tents, the ground should be good for plastic pegs. The sanitary facilities are somewhat scarce and adventurous in terms of accessibility. A slope leads to the sanitary facilities near the bathing area. For shopping you drive to Kisa (25KM), where you can shop extensively. You should also stop once in Boxholm (25KM) at the cheese dairy ;). Electricity at the pitch near the plot, water at taps, waste water not at the plot
