"Quietly located campsite - The campsite is located about 6 km from Lipt. Mikulas on a large reservoir. The reception was friendly and you could choose your own pitch. Most of the pitches offer no shade. The sanitary facilities were old and unkempt. The shower water was lukewarm to cold. The price was too high for the service offered.

"Satisfaction - The overall impression at the end of the stay is satisfaction. A little more expensive than we expected, but we take it as a charge for really nice bathroom facilities. There are quite a few buffets, we have somewhere to eat.

Mara CAMPING ATC LIPTOVSKÝ TRNOVEC is situated on the bank of the dam Liptovská Mara, which is the biggest water dam in Slovakia. This place is favorite for lovers of the water and outdoor sports. Liptovská Mara offers ideal conditions …for yachting and windsurfing, with possibility of fishing, sightseeing ship, mountain bike routes, hiking and many more exciting trips (paragliding, heritage of UNESCO, castles, open air museums, galleries). The camping is 6 km far from the Liptovský Mikuláš city. The camp is opened from 1st May till 31st October. has cca 38 000 m2 and offers accommodation in cottages, places for caravans and camping up to 1000 persons, sanitary facilities and sport grounds. Whole area is closed, fenced and secured by camera system and security service 24 /7. Entrance into the camping have just billeted. There is a Wi-Fi disposable for free in whole camping, then washmashine, grocery and sport equipment rental.
