"Small and cozy - Small campground with relatively many regulars. I was there in the pre-season and found mostly empty caravans. In the vacations it is crowded of course. You stand in an old orchard. If you want connection to 220V, you may need a long cord. Plumbing is reasonable, remarkable is the free hot water (solar water heater) at the dishes but in the showers it is paid and at the sinks it is not there. There is no swimming pool but there are many play opportunities for children and furthermore geese and sheep. Egbert is very helpful, that must also be said. Nearest stores: in Hoek, 3.5 km. In the immediate vicinity there is the Braakmanskreek, around which you can cycle. The ports of Terneuzen are not visible from the campsite (behind the dike) but audible.

Komende vanuit westelijke richting op de N 61 volgt U de richting Terneuzen via Biervliet blijf op de N 61dan komt U bij het plaatsje Hoek. Bij de verkeerslichten rechtsaf, naar Hoek. Nu kun je de eerste weg linksaf en …gelijk weer de tweede rechts, deze weg volgen over de markt, het dorp uit, een dijk op, als de weg een rechterbocht maakt is het eerste volgende huis dat je tegenkomt . Komende van Breda volg de richting Antwerpen (A16)via de grensovergang Hazeldonk kom je vanzelf op de grote ring rond Antwerpen (R1) Via de ring kom je vanzelf bij de "Kennedy tunnel"(Gent volgen), zorg voor de tunnel dat je de rechterrijstrook hebt, want na de tunnel moet je de tweede afslag eraf (op de borden staat: Zeeuws Vlaanderen en Brugge Rotterdam). De volgende afslag links aanhouden, Brugge Rotterdam (anders ga je Antwerpen in), deze moet je volgen tot voor Zelzate ( ~ 30Km ), afslag "R4, Terneuzen Gent Zelzate", bij de splitsing rechtsaf (Zelzate Terneuzen) en deze weg volgen richting Terneuzen (N 253) totdat je een viaduct onderdoor bent gegaan, bij de eerstvolgende kruising linksaf (richting Breskens, Sluiskil N 61 ) , de brug over (snelheidsmeting!) dan bij de tweede verkeerslichten rechtsaf, naar Hoek. * Nu kun je de eerste weg linksaf en gelijk weer de tweede rechts, deze weg volgen over de markt, het dorp uit, een dijk op, als de weg een rechterbocht maakt is het eerste volgende huis dat je tegenkomt waar ik woon. Als je bij Zelzate de afslag hebt gemist, rij dan door de tunnel en gelijk erna rechtsaf, weg volgen en voor de brug linksaf (Sas van Gent) deze weg volgen, als je onder de brug bent doorgereden linksaf bij de verkeerslichten rechts en de volgende lichten rechts (zie vervolgens " * "voor het laatste stuk). Komende van Bergen op zoom of via de “dammenroute” van uit Rotterdan volgt U de richting Goes en volg daarna de borden “ Terneuzen (tol) “. U komt dan vanzelf bij de "Westerschelde tunnel", via de tolpoortjes, zorg aan het eind van de tunnel dat je de rechterrijstrook hebt, want na de tunnel kun je het best de eerste afslag eraf, gelijk na het viaduct vervolgens de rotonde ¾ nemen dan de weg volgen tot de verkeerslichten hier rechtsaf en na 50 meter de afslag naar links, de weg volgen tot de 6 e boerderij . Indien U de eerste afslag na de tunnel hebt gemist rijdt, U door dan de rotonde ¼ rond bij de verkeerslichten rechtsaf, naar Hoek. Nu kun je de eerste weg linksaf en gelijk weer de tweede rechts, deze weg volgen over de markt, het dorp uit, een dijk op, als de weg een rechterbocht maakt is het eerste volgende huis dat je tegenkomt .
