"Older CP on the Moselle - Spacious campsite with central, aging but clean sanitary facilities, which in my opinion are too few (queuing for showers). Electricity cannot be plugged in/unplugged by yourself but only via the groundsman, you may need longer cables. Laying across the road etc. suboptimal in my opinion. Water point only at the sanitary building. Cochem (approx. 2km) and supermarket (approx. 500m) within cycling/walking distance. Ok for one night.

"Do not visit in the fall - Very friendly staff disturbing lunch break - siesta in October ??? Pitches only fixed for permanent campers, for tourists everything slippery and full of mud beautiful location on the river north of Cochem everything easy to reach by bike supermarket right next door Sanitary clean and sufficient in number certainly very nice here in spring and summer better to avoid in fall

"A place to sleep - We were only here one night so it didn't matter to us too much what the campground was like. It was a convenient location for visiting Cochem and the surrounding hills were interesting to look at.

"This place doesn't work at all...expensive, loud and in fall only mud - Camping on the Moselle...but otherwise a disaster! Pitch on muddy grass, roads muddy and too narrow for maneuvering. WLAN is constantly down. The place focuses on mass instead of class... Leaves a very unkempt overall impression. Far too expensive for this outdated standard. 1st and 2nd Moselle row apparently only for permanent campers and the pitches are allocated without regard to your vehicle and its size. Electricity is connected and disconnected. Water is either carried in a bucket or filled up in front of the campsite... Disposal as well. Noise day and night from the road, busy rail and boat traffic. After 3 nights it was enough... better pitch

"CP directly on the Moselle, sanitary somewhat outdated - The site is beautifully situated on the Moselle, family-run and friendly. Cochem is easily accessible by bike. Unfortunately, the facilities are getting on in years, electricity boxes and water (depending on location) are quite far away. Pitches small, maneuvering is sometimes difficult. For 2-3 max. Overnight stays o.k., for a week's vacation there are certainly more suitable places on the Moselle. P.S. How some campers here come up with a 5-point rating is really a mystery to me!
