"beautiful location, but totally overrated - The biggest advantage of this site is the beautiful location with a view of the Moselle, the campsite itself is good average. The leisure facilities are very varied due to the many possibilities in this region. We were also lucky that the weather was suitable and we were able to do many activities that make the Moselle valley so unique - there is something for everyone.

"Very nice campsite directly on the banks of the Moselle - We were very satisfied. We watched swans and boats at the campsite. We went cycling, hiking and made excursions along the Moselle. We would love to come back.

"2 wonderful days on a super beautiful campsite - We stayed in a barrel for 2 days and were really impressed, so clean and tidy, it couldn't have been better, very friendly staff, we will definitely be back.

"Great place on the Moselle - You can be lucky to get a pitch on the Moselle at all, so we were happy to stay at the Rissbach campsite near Traben-Trarbach for a few days after booking in advance. The reception here is very nice and courteous, everything is well organized, our sanitary facilities were cleaned three times a day and were always ok despite the high visitor frequency. The location is beautiful directly on the Moselle, the cycle path right next to it. Wifi was free and worked well. The price is not a special offer, also once again the dog, which costs extra for NOTHING, unfortunately this has become fashionable. The restaurant was expensive, sometimes unfriendly and stressed - food took a long time and there was hardly anything for vegetarians. Waiting an hour for fries is not necessarily a pleasure. All in all: a great place with minor drawbacks - recommended

"Hiking and cycling week - Spent a week as a couple with the dog and the campsite. Had great weather, did lots of things and had a great time.

Profile

A small, family-run campsite with all mod cons and services, right on the banks of the Moselle in Rissbach, Traben-Trarbach. The campsite has a restaurant and terrace, and we offer free Wi-Fi on all pitches. The campsite has 2 sanitary …buildings, 90 pitches, some small tent sites for travellers and 8 wine barrels for overnight stays. At the campsite, you will find our registration with lots of information about the area, we offer a bread delivery service and a small camping shop. Our pitches are partly paved and have electricity and Wi-Fi. The sanitary building has toilets and showers, as well as individual washing cubicles, a baby bath, washing machines and dryers, a dishwashing room and disabled sanitary facilities. Some campsites are equipped with private bathrooms. There is a service point with all the amenities for campers. Our campsite has its own jetty and two slipways in the Moselle. In summer, the river hardly flows at all and the water is perfect for swimming and having fun. We rent out canoes, bicycles and go-karts. For children, there is a playground, a heated swimming pool and a paddling pool. In the city, there is a thermal bath and an outdoor pool where our guests receive a discount. Dogs on a leash are welcome at our campsite. Children up to 6 years old can camp for free with their (grand)parents. The campsite is located in the middle of a well-known wine region, Moselle wines and guided tours are offered weekly. The campsite has its own wine cellar with a mini-museum and a wine cave, which can also be rented by guests and camping groups. The centre of Traben-Trarbach is 2 kilometres away and easily accessible via the Moselle cycle path. Our restaurant ‘Riff’ is located at the campsite, where we offer 100% original and local meat dishes. A variety of local wines and freshly tapped beer await you at the ‘Riff’. We specialise in homemade schnitzel and burger variations. Our meat comes from the Eifel region. The regional Eifel brand certifies and monitors the origin and animal-friendly rearing. Camping shower for dogs with small access stairs. Suitable for up to medium-sized dogs. The water is medium warm and can be used for free by campers with dogs.
