"Suitable for short stays - The campsite is located near the picturesque town of Bergen op Zoom. Unfortunately, the sanitary facilities are not very clean. There was a toilet block near my stable pitch, reminiscent of the toilets at fairs. If you want to enter the campsite by car, you need a pitch card, for which you have to pay a deposit of €20. You are given a bin bag for your garbage, with the instruction not to use any others. Antwerp is about 40 km away. This campsite is the last one before the Belgian border. You should stay on the Dutch side because the Belgian campsites are of a very poor standard.

" - The site is ideal for exploring the southern Netherlands. Rotterdam is not far away, Breda and the surrounding area is a tourist destination and Middelburg is also worth a visit. The site has a large meadow and play area. A heated swimming pool makes it attractive. The sanitary facilities are very different, the old ones are a bit dilapidated, the new ones are quite well equipped but could be cleaner. The snack bar is a little poor, shopping is only possible in the nearby town.

Profile

Op Camping de Heide kunt u heerlijk kamperen midden in 't groen en bent u voorzien van alle gemakken. Een ideale familiecamping met 175 goed onderhouden en fraai gelegen toeristische- en seizoenplaatsen, zowel op groene grasvelden als halfbeschut onder de …bomen. U kunt kiezen voor het trekkersveld of een comfortplaats. De comfortplaatsen zijn deels met hagen afgebakend, tussen de 70-100 m2 groot en allen voorzien van elektra (4 ampère), een watertappunt, afvalwateraansluiting en CAI. Uw auto kunt u veilig en vlakbij uw kampeerplaats of op een apart parkeerveld parkeren. Middelpunt van ons park is het buitenzwembad met apart peuterbad, welke naast verfrissing ook ontspanning biedt. Heerlijk zwemmen en zonnen. Uw kinderen kunnen zich uitleven op de speeltoestellen, het sportveld of bij één van de recreatie activiteiten die in het hoogseizoen worden georganiseerd door ons recreatieteam. Voor een gezellig samenzijn is het cafetaria met terras een ideale plaats of "De Spil" onze multifunctionele ruimte. Tevens vindt u in het cafetaria een klein winkelassortiment met o.a. vers brood (op bestelling) en zuivelproducten. Het sanitair is goed verzorgd met voorzieningen voor invaliden en kinderen. Camping de Heide biedt u ook de mogelijkheid een 6-persoons compleet ingerichte tent of een 4-persoons stacaravan te huren. Camping de Heide is in 2010 geopend van 2 april t/m 26 september.

Vanaf de richting Antwerpen: Vanaf A4 de weg volgen naar de A58 richting Roosendaal en Bergen op Zoom. Volg op knooppunt Zoomland de A4/N259 richting Steenbergen en Halsteren. Neem afslag 27, Bergen op Zoom-Noord. Bij de 2e stoplichten rechtsaf richting Moerstraten. Vanaf hier staat met ANWB-borden aangegeven hoe u moet rijden naar Camping de Heide. Vanaf de richting Zeeland: Volg de A58 richting Roosendaal en Bergen op Zoom. Volg op knooppunt Zoomland de A4/N259 richting Steenbergen en Halsteren. Neem afslag 27, Bergen op Zoom-Noord. Bij de 2e stoplichten rechtsaf richting Moerstraten. Vanaf hier staat met ANWB-borden aangegeven hoe u moet rijden naar Camping de Heide. Met het openbaar vervoer: De trein t/m station Bergen op Zoom. Vanaf het station bus 112 richting Roosendaal en na 10 minuten uitstappen bij halte Ruytershoveweg. Vanaf hier is het nog ca. 10 minuten te voet en volgt u de ANWB-borden richting Camping de Heide. U kunt ook een treintaxi nemen of een fiets huren op het station.
