"Here I fell in love with Albania - The road from Skodra to Koman is a dream! Extremely beautiful scenery, very Albanian road conditions (potholes, cows, sheep, etc...). Then arrival in Koman at dusk. The Natura campsite was full and very muddy. It was more of a parking lot where you could spend the night before taking the ferry the next day. The host, Marco, was super friendly to me and even invited me for raki and food. But I can imagine that he can sometimes be a moody fellow. We then had breakfast on the newly built terrace on the riverbank. It was my first impression of Albania and I was immediately in love with this country

"Camping Koman - I was a bit surprised because of the many good reviews on Google. The owner must have had a bad day with us. On our tour of Albania, this place is the one we can recommend the least. The food was not exactly recommendable either. Well, it was good value for money, but much worse than we were used to. Sanitary facilities were available, but the often praised cleanliness was not as good as we were used to. In any case, the site is very nicely laid out and ideal for a night before or after the Koman ferry.

"Super - This place reflects what we expected from Albania: Pure nature surrounded by lovely people who don't always just have dollar signs in their eyes. It is really something special when the owner of the place distils his raki in a corner and then comes around with samples of the raki that was distilled a long time ago and has now matured to serve samples. When you are allowed to pick or collect fruit from the fruit trees. When you are woken up in the morning by the free-range poultry. And when the barbecue is fired up in the evening. We'll be back in 2017.

"A starting point for the Koman ferry trip - The only one in the camping guide to take the Coma ferry. The operator arranged the tickets for us. The ferry team was informed in advance and made every effort to load our Pössl bus.

"Pure nature - This place is located under the bridge. Pure nature with free-roaming cats, dogs and chickens. Friendly welcome, the road from Shkodra is beautiful but partly gravel and potholes. After the bridge before the reservoir, the road to the right is partly narrow and steep for about 200m. The barbecue was fired up immediately and many travelers meet here for a stopover. Simple but unforgettable.
