"Tent stolen from the campsite operator - After checking in electronically at noon, I did not find my tent at 9 pm. No information on site, no possible contact via telephone answering machine. I was forced to make an overnight return journey on my motorcycle. I only got my tent after previously unpleasant phone calls with hang-ups on the part of the campsite operator, with a deadline set after consulting the police.

"very nice place - The campsite is beautiful with lots of bushes and trees. It is quiet and the people are nice. The owner in particular is very friendly. The water is very clean and you can swim endlessly. There are two boats that you can use, a real luxury. The sanitary facilities are clean. The playground is large, right down by the water with a wooden youth booth. There are several tables with benches on the bathing beach - playground area and there are covered tables above if it rains. The path around the lake is very varied and beautiful. It was our second time there and we felt very comfortable, we'd love to come again soon.

"Very nice! - It was our first time in Holstein Switzerland. It was the perfect campsite for us. Very nice operators! Great water. Beautiful pitches. Clean toilet facilities. And wonderfully secluded;))

"Pure relaxation - We spent a very relaxing weekend at Stocksee. The water in the lake is incredibly clean; you can jump straight into the water from the campsite. There are two bathing areas, but unfortunately dogs are not allowed there. There used to be a third bathing area just for dogs, but we were told by permanent campers that it has been closed since this year. What a pity. There is a bathing area in the village of Stocksee that is not as nice as the one at the campsite, but dogs can go into the water there. Very quiet location, partly overlooking the water. There is a playground for children and there is also a circus tent. The campsite is just the right place to get away from the stress of everyday life. A nice welcome overall. We had the option of leaving later for a small fee, which was ideal in sunny weather.

"Nice quiet place to relax - We spent nine lovely days here, great area for cycling, hiking, swimming (super clean lake), mountain biking (!). Very nice and friendly operator, sanitary facilities clean and sufficient, quiet site with many permanent campers, quiet even during the vacations, atmosphere on the site is relaxed and good, friendly and nice people everywhere. Saturdays are obviously the day for the permanent campers' gardening work. We'll definitely come back here again sometime. Bread roll service 1 a, bread rolls taste good. You actually have to drive 9 km to go shopping.

"Peace and quiet in a nature reserve - We liked it here so much that we extended our stay! The site is located on a lake with very good water quality. Terraced grounds, many pitches with lake views. These are located on grassy areas and are partly paved. Sanitary facilities clean, but take some getting used to, everything is in one room. Overall child-friendly (playground, youth area, both bathing areas with non-swimmer area and dog-free). We enjoyed the peace and quiet and the beautiful natural surroundings. Nevertheless, there are few hiking opportunities and the lakeshore is unfortunately largely inaccessible (nature reserve). We will gladly visit this place again.

Der drei-Sterne-Campingplatz direkt am sehr sauberen Badesee mit 2 Badestellen verfügt über einen Kinderspielplatz, einen großzügigen Bouleplatz mit schöner Grillecke, einem Festzelt für das Sommerfest, Public Viewing wichtiger Fußballspiele oder auch Filme, einem Aufenthaltsraum mit TV und Bücherausleihe und Brettspielen …und ist gelegen in der landschaftlich sehr attraktiven Holsteinischen Schweiz, nicht weit von Bad Segeberg mit den Karl-May-Festspielen oder Plön mit dem Plöner Schloss und diversen Bootstouren auf dem Plöner See. Auf dem Stocksee kann man angeln und in einem eingegrenzten Bereich Boot fahren. Das Gut Stockseehof lädt im Sommer zum Schleswig-Holstein-Musikfestival ein und heißt auch Gäste im Hofcafe zur Himbeer- und Kirschernte herzlich willkommen. Die Holsteinische Schweiz lädt zum Nording Walken und auch Rad fahren ein. Hunde an der Leine sind auf dem Campingplatz willkommmen. Der Campingplatz ist ein gemischter Platz, hier sind Zelter und Wohnwagen ebenso wie Wohnmobilisten zuhause.

Diese Wege verfügen meist über mehrere Badestellen und eignen sich ausgezeichnet auch zum Nordic Walking.
