Der Jugendzeltplatz Diemelsee befindet sich am Südarm des Sees und liegen nur wenige Meter auseinander. In 2013 wurde der Jugendzeltplatz modernisiert, um Jugendgruppen unter verantwortlicher Leitung Ferienfreizeiten in gesunder Luft und ohne Störung durch Erwachsene zu ermöglichen. Den Gruppen …wird es ermöglicht die vielfalt der Natur kennenzulernen. Seine Ausstattung: • 14 000 qm Fläche in Terrassen, Feld für Ballspiele, höhenverstellbarer Grill mit Platz für Lagerfeuer • Schutzhütte für Spiele und geselliges Beisammensein • Küchenraum (27 qm) mit begehbarem Kühlraum, 3 Gasherde, 1 Hockerkocher, 2 Doppelspülen mit Heißwasser, 2 Außenbecken mit Wasseranschluss für Grobreinigungen und Kleinwäsche • 2 Stromverteiler für je 6 Anschließer • Waschräume im Mädchenbereich rollstuhlbefahrbar, 6 Waschbecken, 4 Duschstellen (kostenpflichtig 50 ct je Duschvorgang, ca 10 Min.), 4 WC, 1 Behinderten-WC • Waschräume im Jungenbereich rollstuhlbefahrbar, 7 Waschbecken, 4 Urinalstellen, 3 WC, 4 Duschstellen (kostenpflichtig 50 ct je Duschvorgang, ca 10 Min.)
